He is correct and now showing the kind of humility i didn't see when he first came.

More like he is saying ManCity is not in the class of BIGGER clubs (like ManU, Chelsea, Real Madrid, or Barcelona),
and not that the club is irrelevant.

English is not his first language, so he gets a pass.

You can cajole and cajole and cajole as you like! He said it right there in video! if it was an article now, they will say "he was misquoted" :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: It is video!

I am certain he didnt say it with malice. But He knew exactly what he was saying. And he is right! City is NOT a big club.

Bluemoon is irate!

The English game has showed his many and varied limitations as well as his arrogance. I honestly think he is taking the piss.
Not the first time he has intimated that we are a pretty second rate outfit lucky to have him.

And that is probably why there is no real connect with him, despite the touchline antics.
He's correct though in a way.

With the way we %%%% about two better men in order to chase him, the way we coronated him in The summer, it made us look desperate and small.

Can anyone imagine Bayern, Madrid, Juve, allow a season like this to go unanswered? No chance. He'd be out with his tail between his legs.
Bit of a stupid comment and hardly going to be received very well by city fans.
Because he thinks we are a small club with no history he doesn't feel under pressure to deliver immediately and has therefore %%%% around with formations, players etc.

Hopefully he now understands that there are no third chances at City.
It is becoming rather irritating and someone from the club needs to have a word with him about this. Guardiola is trying to deflect from his own short comings this season by constantly inferring were not a big club, we don't have big players and we don't have the fans of a big club. Well, we managed to win 2 league titles in the 3 or 4 years before you got here just fine.
Wtf....Why didn't he just say "we are a small time club which i wished I hadn't joined"

City is not a big club But City has big club deep pocket & he likes the Dollars or Euros; why doesn't he make it big or isn't that part of his job
make peaceful change impossible make violent change inevitable.

"It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is. If the--if he--if 'is' means is and never has been, that is not--that is one thing. If it means there is none, that was a completely true statement....Now, if someone had asked me on that day, are you having any kind of sexual relations with Ms. Lewinsky, that is, asked me a question in the present tense, I would have said no. And it would have been completely true."

There are only two big clubs in England, ManUre and Liverpool.

The rest, like Chelsea, Arsenal, City, etc are top clubs.
Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Kpom!,.. Kpom!!,... Kpom!!! :agree: :agree: :agree:

Which brings forth the issue of whether coaches are great because of the personnel they're working with,
or if their greatness or lack of it, can show up in situations where the talent is sparse.
Newcastle's Ramirez might just prove to be a great coach if he can have his team qualify for the CL next season.
