Outsourced the England....why bother raising an U-20 when we have an England team to pillage?Eaglezbeak wrote:England raised them (in terms of football), what happened to Nigerias Under 20 team?Dammy wrote:Super Eagles of Englandsmartbrother wrote:http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40158560Goalkeepers: Freddie Woodman (Newcastle), Dean Henderson (Manchester United), Luke Southwood (Reading)bbc wrote:England have reached the semi-finals of the Under-20 World Cup for the first time in 24 years.

Re: "ENGLAND" U-20 into the world cup semies
Solanke and Ademola scored for England and now leading 2 - 1 against Italy (with no Nigerians.)
Hope they can make that lead count.
Make that 3 - 1.
Sholanke x 2.

England doing well at this tournament does not bode well for us poaching these players. I hope they get knocked out.

Seyi Ojo with 2 assists as well.
Re: "ENGLAND" U-20 into the world cup semies
I think Tomori is the cream of the Nigerian crew. Ojo isnt that far off. They are all good, though.
"Nigeria", Africas only true hope of bringing the World cup home to motherland.

Finally England and Nigeria may win the world cup someday by God's grace.

Last year they won the Toulon Tournament and they are now in the U20 Tournament...............................The future is bright for the 3 lions.

Yet we are still going to hear the usual suspects talking of the Anglo-Nigerian players we are trying to poach as 'second rate'.okidoki wrote:I think Tomori is the cream of the Nigerian crew. Ojo isnt that far off. They are all good, though.
Meanwhile, this is a FIFA U20 WC tournament we have hardly ever made an impact in.
