This, of course, is nonsense. The names below will twerk into the Chelsea line up

Bonucci
Chiellini
Romagnoli
Thiago Silva
Maquinhos
Pique
Ramos
Varane
Bailly
Sule
Hummels
Boateng
Kolcieny
Mascherano
Manolas
Koulibaly
Alderweireld
Vertonghen
Godin
Gimenez
Laporte
Mussachio
Toprak
Rugani
Kompany

Just off the top of my head, I have named 24 Central Defenders who are better than the Cahill, Luiz, Rudiger, Azpilicueta (he is a CD now), Christiansen, Zouma, Miazga.

Then there are many more who are are better that 70% of that Chelsea defense. The difference is system, not individuals.

^Not everyone can play in a back three. As a ball carrying centre half, there are few better than a focused David Luiz, Azpi cemented his name amongst Europe's better half as an outside right. Of the three, Cahill is by far the most vulnerable, ironically, he is perhaps the most indispensable.

Returning to Kenneth Mormont Omeruo, he was never top flight pedigree, but had the physical attributes to make a good go of it. After a decent innings with Boro, he lost his way, was benched and never recovered from there. A move back to the Championship and a 46 rounder under his belt would do hin wonders.

Exclusive – Omeruo In Line For Chelsea Debut & Transfer To Wolves For £3m
July 15, 2017 073
http://owngoalnigeria.com/2017/07/15/ex ... es-for-3m/

Chelsea Nigerian defender Kenneth Omeruo could be involved in a crazy 24 hours as he could be heading for a medical at Wolverhampton Wanderers after making his debut for Chelsea in their pre season game against Crawley Town.

Omeruo joined Chelsea in 2013 but since his move he has endured five different loan spells without representing the first team in any official or unofficial game, although he has played for the U23s.

The 23 year old is back at the club undergoing pre season training, where he has been selected for their first pre season test game against Crawley Town, a game which coach Eddie Newton will supervise in the absence of head coach Antonio Conte.

However the game could be his first and last in the colours of Chelsea as he is reportedly set to undergo a medical with Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers after a fee of around £3m was accepted for him by Chelsea.

Although the player admitted he could yet remain at Chelsea and fight for his spot, he also made it clear that he wants to play regularly as he wants to keep his spot in the national team of Nigeria ahead of the World Cup 2018 in Russia.

At Wolverhampton Wanderers he is guaranteed to get games as new coach Nuno Espir‎ito Santo is overhauling the squad and has cut loose some players in areas where Omeruo could be an option.

Are we not going to blame Mourinho for this one? Shocking how much Conte is getting away with! Selling off all the youth prospects! Yet, no pim!

This was his debut too, he has been at Chelsea longer than their own captain, and I was being accused of being anti-Nigerian.

Nigeria defender Kenneth Omeruo looks set to be shipped out on another loan deal or be sold outright as Premier League champions Chelsea have not picked him on the squad for a training tour of Asia.

Chelsea will fly out of London tomorrow for China and Singapore, but without Omeruo.

The Eagles star captained a mainly U23 team against Crawley Town, playing 75 minutes yesterday, even though he has been training with the main squad since the pre-season begun.

His performance in a 1-1 draw with the fourth-tier team was described as “comfortable”.

However, SCORENigeria specially gathered the Nigeria central defender still does not have a future at Stamford Bridge.

Interests for him have so far been from Turkey, where he has played for the past two seasons on loan.

The clubs mainly want him on loan again but it is also possible one or two of them will be willing to buy him on a permanent basis.

In the coming weeks, the player’s destination will be a lot clearer.

He has two years left on his contract with ‘The Blues’.

In this age of useless players worth 40m, 50m, 70m, Naija players are going for peanuts ...very sad indeed

If a player isnt moving up after certain number of years in development, then their is a problem somewhere.

I dont have ish with Ken not getting the chelsea starting shirt but he should look at moving to even a D1 low table team in ENgland, Italy, Spain, France, Germany. I could even add Portugal and holland.

Like other commentators have said, we have very average set of CDs. Hope Awaziem gets great football education at Nantes.

Kenneth's growth stalled after the confederation cup. After his stellar performances in the tournament he never progressed again. At this point of his career he should having been on same level with Napoli's Coulby from Senegal and Baily of Manchester . He has very good physical attributes to be defensive stalwart . I recalled one time after one of his bravura games he was extolled to high heavens by our GREAT OLOYE.. The boy for some unknown reasons has failed to meet the lofty expectations of him . What a disappointment, The good thing he is still young maybe he will have a quantum improvement somewhere along the line,.

Chelsea's Omeruo Publicly Dismisses Link With Wolverhampton Wanderers : No Truth To it
Published: July 17, 2017
Chelsea's Omeruo Publicly Dismisses Link With Wolverhampton Wanderers : No Truth To itNigeria international Kenneth Omeruo has publicly dismissed reports that first surfaced in the local press that linked him with a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

It was claimed that the central defender was due to have a medical with the Molineux Stadium outfit today, Monday, after Chelsea accepted a bid of three million pounds from the Championship club.

Wolves fan Robert Howard tweeted to Omeruo : ''Any truth in the rumour that you might be moving to Wolves?''

The Super Eagles star showed off his customer service skills by replying the fan almost immediately : ''No truth to it''.

Then, the defender replied another fan who showed him an article that claimed he was on his way to WV1 4QR : ''Is it my own kenneth omeruo? Or someone else?''

The 23-year-old, who has been omitted from Chelsea's pre-season tour squad, is attracting interest from Turkish Super Lig teams.
