Why wouldn't he? They always find a way to beat us; therefore, facing Nigeria is a guaranteed three (3) points in the bag for them. However, he better be careful because he could be surprised this time.
And the BIBLE says: The race is NOT for the swift, neither is the battle for the strong nor ... but time and chance makes them all.
Ecclesiastes 1:18: For in much wisdom is much grief and he that increases knowledge increases sorrow.

Maybe so because they (Argentina) cheats a lot - diving, scoring with hand, re-starting when the ref hasn't signal for play to resume - and et al.

They cheated in the 2010 game.

Their goal should have been disallowed if officiated properly. Chinedu Obasi was fouled by the Argentine, before the goal was scored.
Buhari, whose two terms thankfully ground to a constitutional halt in May. (One thing both democracies have going for them is that their leaders, however bad, have only two terms to swing the wrecking ball.) Under Buhari, growth per head also plunged to 0. An economic agenda drawn from the dusty pages of a 1970s protectionist handbook failed to do the trick. Despite Buhari’s promise to tame terrorism and criminality, violence flourished. Despite his reputation for probity, corruption swirled. FT

We have to find the original Spanish interview against Ecuador.

because I can't find anywhere where he says he fancies Nigeria. The only thing I have found is that the game against Nigeria in the Olympics was one of his favourite games ever for Albiceleste.

but then again, does it matter....whether he said it or not, it is obvious that is what he thinks.

Came to type the same    Clickbait article
Messi, who was superb in Argentina’s win against Ecuador which gave the South Americans the World Cup ticket was said to be looking forward to facing Nigeria again in Russia. He added that a game against Nigeria was among his favourites games.
Said to whom?

what a clown.
We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14

He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14

I think Spain’s by far the best league.

Exactly!!
Our wikipedia World Cup article states that our 2014 goal against Bosnia was controversial, I have edited the article to also state that the Gabriel Heinze goal was controversial, and even provided a reference. If it doesn't stick, I will delete the 'controversial' re the Bosnia goal and see what happens.

kayode has no reason to be anywhere near SE camp unless as a spectator
make peaceful change impossible make violent change inevitable.

"It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is. If the--if he--if 'is' means is and never has been, that is not--that is one thing. If it means there is none, that was a completely true statement....Now, if someone had asked me on that day, are you having any kind of sexual relations with Ms. Lewinsky, that is, asked me a question in the present tense, I would have said no. And it would have been completely true."
