The only posititions the Super Eagles are equal if not better is Ndidi vs Casemiro / Fernandinho (Ndid is better than Fernandinho, but about on par with Casemiro) and Moses vs Willian (Moses is better). Iheanacho on Super Eagles goalscoring form would give both Gabriel Jesus and Firmino a run for the money. Iheanacho is limited, but what he does he does way better than GJ or RF.

Undoubtedly. Victor Moses is one of the first players on the team sheet at Chelsea, Willian isn't.

Nacho is very very very limited. The WCQs were replayed this weekend on DSTV, and the youngman cannot trap a ball, control a pass, and he is generally a turnover machine. His turnovers directly led to threats on our goals that the Algerians wasted.

He can finish though, and the new dimensions of being good with deadballs is great.

Don't come and start shouting if he starts from the bench in Russia though. He has a lot of tools, but I also understand why he has struggled at the club level. I do think he is better than Vardy BTW, but they are alike. They are the kind of player the whole team must play for and clean up after. Just rewatch the qualifiers.

I am breaking out in a sweat over the GK position again. I had said Ezenwa was on the plane based on CHAN, but the dude was poor in the WCQs, especially away to Algeria. We won 2 and drew 2 with him though, but I won't be surprised if he gets dropped if the other options impress in camp. He and Akpeyi are the types of keepers that will cost you games at the WC level.

Finally, there is a good chance Moses Simon will start in Russia. Only injury can keep him off the team.

Well... looks like the list will be down to 14.
No way Marcelo makes it back for the World Cup.

If it's a hamstring pull then he should be OK.

Some debate over who's the better keeper between him and Alisson.

But he'll be there, as will David Luiz.
Are you sure about David Luiz, after the 7-1 drubbing by Germany last WC?
Chief Pajimoh; I think the 7-1 lose to Brazil is the entire team's fault instead of only the goalkeeper.

David Luiz is not a goalkeeper.

Its a tear at best. The doctors are saying it looks bad. Best case scenario 3-4 months.
