Of the many national US sports media TV outlets only BEIN sports talked about the 2026 award.
And if you are looking at other conventional national news outlets you could as well forget about it.

I can totally understand for the US. Just imagine if there were a major major news item in baseball. The vast majority wouldn't notice in Europe or Africa.

The tragedy is Africa as a voting block is dead. We will never host another world cup again in the next 25 years. Once the US get a taste of the profitability of hosting the tournament they will want dominate the hosting process like they do with the gold cup. They will threaten nations politically to get the hosting rights. It is a tragedy.

Not true,African will host 2034 take that to the bank.That is 16 years from today.I can even say 2030 will come to Africa.
Africa need another country to step up and not only South Africa should the country ready.

Not true,African will host 2034 take that to the bank.That is 16 years from today.I can even say 2030 will come to Africa.

2038 Asia
