Re: Africa so far: 4 games; 4 loses; 1 goal; 0 points
Uruguay beat us in the final minute without our best player (one the best players in the world at that) - how do we suck? Where would Portugal be without Ronaldo?Heliopolis wrote:We are so desperate to make excuses that we are now pointing to Ramadan even though it ended BEFORE the World Cup. Not Egypt, Morocco, or Tunisia were fasting. We just suck and need to stop making excuses.

Would they have even qualified for the tournament without him and then the final? I remember his 2 goals against Hungary saving Portugal then he scored in the semis as well.Rawlings wrote:kastro11 wrote:Uruguay beat us in the final minute without our best player (one the best players in the world at that) - how do we suck? Also Portugal got completely dominated without Ronaldo in the final. France lost because of their incompetence, while Portugal fluked it.

The discussion is about why Egypt lost ONE game to Uruguay without their biggest starkastro11 wrote:Would they have even qualified for the tournament without him and then the final? My example is about how Portugal won ONE game without their biggest star.

Their win against France was a fluke. France should have won that match quite comfortably. We'll see what Portugal is made of should Ronaldo get injured again.Rawlings wrote:The discussion is about why Egypt lost ONE game to Uruguay without their biggest starkastro11 wrote:Would they have even qualified for the tournament without him and then the final?
