...must have been a national holiday in the country, for schools, offices, market places
Reminds me of the 2000 ANC final, I was on the street driving, all was very quiet, then this loud thunderous shout when Nigeria scored.

Great scenes. This is why Nigeria's football is KING.
The difficulties of statistical thinking describes a puzzling limitation of our mind: our excessive confidence in what we believe we know, and our apparent inability to acknowledge the full extent of our ignorance and the uncertainty of the world we live in. We are prone to overestimate how much we understand about the world and to underestimate the role of chance in events -- Daniel Kahneman (2011), Winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics

Amazing scenes.
Imagine this continues for another three or four matches....expect a steep rise in population in about March next year.

Re: Nigeria Fans Reactions & Incredible Celebration Video
Awesome Stuff!!
I know people often criticize fans for taking football too seriously...but I would never forget the pure unadulterated joy I felt in that stadium after Musa’s goals. It was like I was 5 years old again. Jumping Up and Down alternatively shouting “Goal for Nigeria” and “Musssssaaaaa”, surrounded by Russians and Icelanders. My voice didn’t stand a chance...it was gone after goal 2.
I’ve never been to a World Cup before ...and I’m not planning on making a habit of it. But that experience was something else
