The problem is they keep giving possession away, they are too predictable with the long searching balls.

We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand

He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.

I think Spain’s by far the best league.

Not poor goalkeeping.

Just poor communication.
Nah, poor keeping. If you are going to come out that far, you either collect or punch well clear. What you don't do is miss it completely. Anyway communication in that situation is keeper's responsibility.

Senegal have taken too many touches in possession. Not quick and deliberate enough in mid-field. Need a play maker and more incisive play from wings.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. Niang finally limped off to be replaced by Diouf.
2 of the finest indigenous coaches Nigeria ever had lost in a space of 4 days. Dear Lord, is this a sign that you are taking away from us what we failed to appreciate? I pray for forgiveness of our sins. I pray for the humility to recognize our wrongs and the humbleness and wisdom to right our ways.

To do the opposite and be unpredictable requires you to think quickly and that can be difficult If you have spent years cultivating a lazy football brain.
