Porto may cancel Nwakali’s loan deal.

Very sad commentary on him if this report is true. They’re literally calling him lazy. Is this a case of immaturity or has he Hit a wall in his development? He has been very inconsistent since turning pro. He plays a handful of games then ends up on the bench not to heard from again. Something is wrong here guys. He was the heir to Mikel’s spot on SE, now he’s about to go the Reuben Gabriel route to Finland.

Arsenal have been told by FC Porto t
We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14
He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14
I think Spain’s by far the best league.

Re: Porto may cancel Nwakali’s loan deal.
the guy had an opportunity to show his worth against 50 year old Liberians, and he made no impact.
and people wonder why he was in Porto B that is losing every game, and now cannot even start for that team.
BUt it is all a conspiracy to stop African players.
Rohr saw him against geriatrics and was not impressed. It is time for us to forget about Nwakali until he starts playing regularly first team football in a decent league.
We have Alex Iwobi and should be looking to cap Eberechi Eze as a replacement.

He was playing football before he signed to Porto,if it doesn’t work out there he can go elsewhere he’s only on loan after all,he’s not from Europe so these things happen since Nigeria hasn’t got a League to fall back on so they shouldn’t judge his ability based on his club career they should know how he’s developing and how much he’s improved since his youth days as he played for the Flying Eagles.EMIR KONGI JAFFI JOFFA wrote:http://owngoalnigeria.com/2018/10/22/ex ... -b-team-2/

If we are picking single performances how did he do against Athletico Madrid?vancity eagle wrote:the guy had an opportunity to show his worth against 50 year old Liberians, and he made no impact.

Let’s be honest, apart from his goal he didn’t do much. His brother showed more and had a better overall game.aruako1 wrote:If we are picking single performances how did he do against Athletico Madrid?vancity eagle wrote:the guy had an opportunity to show his worth against 50 year old Liberians, and he made no impact.

Ol boy that’s your opinion but if you go to the game thread a lot of ppl felt otherwise. But that said every coach can’t be wrong. They’ve all recognized his talent and given him opportunities and he’s only excelled in the Dutch second division so far.ohenhen1 wrote:His brother didn't look better than him.

Sorry Van City and Maceo, but that is pure unadulterated garbage! His brother played the flashier brand of football, but Kelechi was the best Nigerian player on the pitch against Atletico Madrid. Mind you, there's a reason why he was the lone player called up to the Super Eagles from that selection.
As for the Liberia friendly, I must say that I reject this narrative that he had a poor performance, because he didn't. He looked just fine to me, and I was not disappointed with what I saw from him.
Now I wouldn't say that he's ready to take the reins of the Super Eagles midfield. But he showed enough to continue to be in the picture as we move forward.
Re: Porto may cancel Nwakali’s loan deal.
You're talking as if a legion of coaches have found him wanting, when in fact it's only at one club where he had difficulty in the Dutch top division.maceo4 wrote:Ol boy that’s your opinion but if you go to the game thread a lot of ppl felt otherwise. Re: Porto may cancel Nwakali’s loan deal.
I should have prefaced it with if this news is true. Because Rohr tried him and hasn't re-invited him, like you said he couldn't break in the Dutch 1st division at VVV, now at Porto he hasn't made a step up from the youth (B) team.mystic wrote:You're talking as if a legion of coaches have found him wanting, when in fact it's only at one club where he had difficulty in the Dutch top division.maceo4 wrote:Ol boy that’s your opinion but if you go to the game thread a lot of ppl felt otherwise. The Athetico Marid Game was an exhibition game and the Nigerian team still lost yet it is being used as yard- stick to gauge Kelechi’s performance. To even mention the Liberian friendly is even worst

Did you also predict Ghana's winless AFCON run? Did you predict Ghana's loss to India's whipping boys, Kenya? Did you predict that the Ayew boys would become relegation specialists?Rawlings wrote:I predicted this.....

This is CE, we don't have time for the 4-times African champions

We use Ghana for context. You measure yourself against your neighbours.
