Are people saying Mane's goal was offside? The linesman made a massive error. Mane was no way in an offside position on that play!! He was behind the ball when the pass was made! Haba!! Is offside so difficult to understand!!

Just like the linesman or the referee of totenham and Wolves made a mistake in denying Wolves of their beautiful goal. Thus allowing you guys to escape 3-2. or are denying that wasn't a clean goal?

Just proving to you that referees are humans too and make mistakes. Even i read somewhere where Mane gave a classy reply when asked about the goal. He said paraphrasing that he scored an offside goal earlier against West Ham and it stood so no big deal if the referee thought this one he scored is offside. And that he wont lose sleep over it. That officlas are humans too.
Something in that vein.

I do not think Mane being onside when Firmino kicked the ball against the bar, is in dispute.

When Mane ran towards the ball from an offside position, causing interference, the Lino should have raised his flag, according to the rules he would have been correct. This would have prevented any conjecture as to why he eventually raised the flag.

To me, I am of the opinion he raised the flag when the ball rebounded to Mane off the bar because he (Mane) had gained from an unfair offside position and interfered with play to get in position for his strike at goal.
