Akpeyi was beaten by a good goal and only conceded one goal. Uzoho conceded 5 goals in an inferior league and division.

Akpeyi is way better than Uzoho.
:rotf: :rotf: :rotf: You're telling me that all these Telkom knockout chasing jokers in the ABSA Premiership are playing at a higher level that the Segunda division?

That is a really good joke.

He will grow, i agreed to that...

Was he chosen because he was the best? No. He was chosen because Rohr likes Tall GKs. End off.

Akpeyi has never had a clean sheet keeping for Nigeria whether it’s a friendly or competitive match ,he concedes goal(s) those that want him to play for Nigeria support him because he is their towns man.

Afelohai invited to Eagles Camp

Good! I have heard so much (good things) about him. If he has been invited, it is an opportunity for many of us to see him in action for the first time if our coach will play him

Damn. Our boy Akpeyi looked hella shaky in that game notwithstanding that the Uganda keeper was marginally worse. Oh well, Rohr will blindfold and flip a coin to pick Akpeyi or Ezenwa. We have to manage either one. We no get choice.

Akpeyi is an awful keeper. Dude looks like an amateur in that clip. I just hope Rhor does not have a brainfart and start this clown. Tufia!!

I find it hard to believe we don't have better goalkeepers than Akpeyi and Ezenwa in the whole of Nigeria.

One thing is for sure, we will concede a goal or 2 with our hopeless goal keeping situation... not sure how firm our defence will hold against the pacey SA forwards, (player to watch is that Tau fellow that sealed our fate with his salt to injury second goal he scored against us in the first leg... and of course Akpeyi was in goal when he comically flailed his lines). However I'm more confident we will score goals, with a front line of Kalu, Musa, Iwobi, Success, and Ighalo, with the likes onyekuru, Nacho, the Villarreal kid waiting to come off the bench, it's hard not to see SE not scoring goals. It's a question of which team will outscore the other.

Oloye, Ezenwa has nothing to prove with respect to the SuperEagles. He got us through the World Cup qualifiers without any major incidents, remember :?: :!

Cheers.
Away vs Algeria was the kind of match teams lose 5-1 just due to poor goalkeeping. Thank God Slimani & co decided to match Yakubu's WC miss on multiple occassions.
So true. That must have been the match that changed Rhor's opinion on Ezenwa. Droping simple crosses for Slimani & co. If they had their shoot boots it would have been an embarasing game.
This is exactly the kind of mentality that stifles the progress of Nigerian football. Uzoho gets a pass mark despite his penchant for conceding lots of goals but Ezenwa is condemned for his imaginary “likelihood” of conceding. We are never going anywhere with that mindset. Unfortunately, we have a coach who has an illogical preference for certified under performers :!:

Cheers.

South Africa also have major injury problems. Akpeyi used to be good. He has lost his confidence.
Winners do it the right way.
