Listened to Sarri. Are Chelsea sure he will use this player?

The Club sounded Sarri out before moving for Pulisic and he spoke favorably about him.

The transfer has been labelled "crazy" in Germany...
https://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/fuss ... .bild.html

That's why the Pulisic deal is masterful

There are transfers of the category crazy. Ousmane Dembélé's 120-million change from Dortmund to Barcelona is such an example.

Recently, there are also shops of the magnitude Christian Pulisic (20). A deal that can confidently be described as border-bound by its basic conditions. And that is certainly not the donating club BVB meant .

The madness plays once more in Brexitannien! More precisely, at Abramovich Club Chelsea ...

Profiteers of the persistent million-irrationality on the island are once again the Dortmund bosses. Unimaginable: The Londoners have pulled from the German title favorites for Pulisic a transfer of 64 million euros from the nose! For a player who had only 1.5 years contract. European record!

For a player who is only substitute player at BVB . Pulisic (only 5 league start-up appearances) - that's the truth - has stagnated at the Pott club for months. The American is fast, but it is becoming increasingly clear that he is positionally limited.

Against this background, to generate 64 million euros and on top of that to lend the player until the summer for free, is a real king's achievement by BVB CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke (59) and manager Michael Zorc (56).

They can crown this deal in 2019 probably only by winning the championship. But they do not want to talk about something so crazy in Dortmund ...

Yeah, that's what I was referring to.

Sarri knew he was not in charge of player acquisition when he signed on to be coach.

Its crazy, hopefully he comes good in Chelsea but these big clubs just waste money anyhow...your team needs a striker and you are buying Pulisic, a winger? Is he any better than the Odoi young kid they already have?

Why Dortmund why. The rate at which they sell their best players to their rivals and still stay competitive (and qualify for the Champions League) is amazing. Over the last few seasons they have sold: Hummels, Lewandowski, Dembele, Aubameyang, Gundogan, Mkhitaryan, Rudiger, Sokratis, Sahin, Immobile, Ginter, Bender, Subotic, Goetze, Kagawa (and bought the last two back!)

yet they are still top of the Bundesliga!

This Dortmund might have one of the best scout in the game, where they get all this players, currently they do have some super unknown quality players.

It is incredible how they lose star players every year and simply replace them with other players who seamlessly arrive and do the same job as effectively as the departed player:

Aubameyang - Alcacer
Gundogan - Witsel
Dembele - Sancho
Sokratis - Akanji

etc

This is utter B.S!
Pulisic can play as a striker if well handled. Heck, he can even learn to be an attacking MF.
The kid is teachable and has a brain on him.

Chelsea's coaching and ownership instability might not be the best environment for him though.
