Great compelling match between 2 Nigerians that should be competing for the same spot in the team

Nice long pass from Chukwueze there. Simon Moses has become more of a RWB. Very conservative play compared to what we used to see from him before.

The long pass did lead to a bad knee injury on the receiving player. Pure bad luck.

Chukweze just missed a golden chance header (headed straight into the ground).

Wow, Moses Simon with a dangerous driving cross into the box, inches a way from being forced into the net by an opposing player.

Both Nigerians playing well.

Well, in the battle of the 2 Nigerians, Chukwueze clearly came up on top! Created the 1st goal, and score the definitive goal.

I will gif the 2 goals for all 2 admire!

I can’t lie I feel for Levante, the game changed once Chukwueze was brought in.

Rohr should stop the nonsense and elevate Chukwueze to the SE for the next round of matches.
I am happy

Levante had several chances to put the game away - their game was summed up when Simon's deflected shot went agonizingly wide of the post.
That said, Chukwueze's defense splitting assist (for the 1st goal) and his last second of the game 'Golazoo!' were beauties to behold.

That’s why a team needs to be efficient, could have been at least a goal up. Feel bad for Simon, his game seemed to up, once Chukwueze came on. Wasn’t enough this time.

Funny thing is: Chukwueze had scored that exact type goal a couple of times with the Villareal B team.
It was nice to see him score like that in a Villareal A team game.

Simon Moses delivers a dangerous driving shot into the box, almost trickles in:

Image

Chukwueze piercing run at the defense leads to a great through pass that opens up the defense and leads to the first goal:

Image

And the best of all, Chuks cuts to his left foot, and delivers a curler that would have made Van Basten proud.

Image

All this action happened in extra time!

You better believe it.
From Levante appealing for a penalty to Villareal scoring at the other end.
And just past the 4th min of 4min extra time the 2nd goal came, and it was the last play of the game.

U23 could use a talent like this, you rather he sit on SE bench?
