The pitch aided that goal in an ironic way. It sat up for a sumptuous half volley and of course the strike was clean and powerful. Good tv goal.

The pitch looks OK to me but many have said it is really bad, including the players, so I'm assuming they're right.

What exactly is the problem with the pitch?

In the video, it looks just as good as the best pitches I've seen in Nigerian stadiums.

Correct guy. Thanks Iworo!
We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14

He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14

I think Spain’s by far the best league.

With The unemployment rate in Asaba at 92% the stadium should be jam packed.

Maybe watch closer how the ball keeps bouncing on it, it should be quite clear that the field is too bumpy.

So you mean the layout is not even and the grass itself is not the problem?

Gboosa!
The difficulties of statistical thinking describes a puzzling limitation of our mind: our excessive confidence in what we believe we know, and our apparent inability to acknowledge the full extent of our ignorance and the uncertainty of the world we live in. We are prone to overestimate how much we understand about the world and to underestimate the role of chance in events -- Daniel Kahneman (2011), Winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics

How can unemployed Nigerians afford to watch a football match when the majority of those that do work don't get payed much?

We’ll explain then, unemployment usually means you’re out of (not in) a paying job which means a lack of funds so unless being unemployed in Nigeria equates to one receiving free tickets football matches I..........
