NFF Should target Chris Hughton now he is available

Post by heavyd »

After the quite shocking news that Chris Hughton has been sacked by Brighton I think the NFF should target him to replace Rohr.

He is a very experienced manager with good pedigree. I think he will be a good fit for the Super Eagles. What do you guys think?

What experience does he have relating to Africa football, how much time has be spend in any African country to date ? Will he be rugged enough to stand the Nigeria un-organised settings?? As compared with England.

Even if we must select from Europe He needs to be younger and of modern football ideology-

...are you (all) laying foundation for Rohr to fail?
This is how many of our past local coaches were undermined, even with good results.
What if he does well at this summer ANC?

We need a new coach after Afcon. His name should be among the short list. He was sacked after escaping relegation with a bad team.
Winners do it the right way.

Why not shortlist Obama too; he is available

I didnt say replace Rohr before Afcon... that would be silly
But depending on how he performs if we are looking for a replacement i think Hughton should be on the shortlist at least.

How are you any different from the NFF that was actively seeking out a replacement for Keshi (which he went on to win) even as the tournament was ongoing?

...and why would you be thinking along that line now? With tournament around the corner, or have you all given up that we gonna fail?
