VAR strikes again. How many VAR penalties have been given this tourney?
"Our enemies are the political profiteers, the swindlers, the men in high and low places that seek bribes and demand 10 percent; those that seek to keep the country divided permanently so that they can remain in office as ministers or VIPs at least, the tribalists, the nepotists, those that make the country look big for nothing before international circles, those that have corrupted our society and put the Nigerian political calendar back by their words and deeds." - Kaduna Nzeogwu

USA clearly the better team deserving of the lead, but see how the replays never sought to establish if the player made contact with the ball?

1st goal was inconclusive. Demoralizing for the orange. They add to abolish their plans and go for the jugular.
Travesty IMHO!

WWC: HOW WILL THE DUTCH REACT TO THE VAR PK TO THE US?

Post by Bell »

Did you all see the PK awarded against the Dutch, courtesy of the VAR? During an earlier round there was a worse case when an England player had her boot higher and actually made contact with the attacking player. After the VAR review, the ref denied a PK. Now that it has happened to a major European power (not a minnow), and in the final, maybe FIFA will take a second look at this crap. As I'm typing the US has added a second goal so some may say the call didn't decide the game. Maybe so but it no doubt changed the way the teams played.

Rapinoe already said " F.u.c.k. the Whitehouse, I'll never go there and see the divider in chief"
Well, I hope she follows through....
