I think the NFF should invite Mikel vs Brazil
This guy did so much for the SE, and he has been playing week in week out for his club in Turkey. I think it's a good idea if this game can be used as a swansong for Mikel, this way he gets a standing applause for repping our great SE

But he announced his retirement &,he is a Nations Cup winning legend and like you said "he has been play week in week out for his club in Turkey",flying to Indonesia then back again may be a disruption!Bigpokey24 wrote:This guy did so much for the SE, and he has been playing week in week out for his club in Turkey. I have banished John Pajimoh Barnes from this forum , bobo cry come log off, so be very careful , take this as a friendly warning , also put some respect in Mikel's name..i dislike it when people disrespect Mikel and it infuriates me a great deal....Scipio Africanus wrote:I think BigPorkey should be flogged for this nonsense idea

Re: I think the NFF should invite Mikel vs Brazil
Actually, this is one of the very rare good ideas BP’s espoused on this forum. First of all, it will give Nigerian fans a chance to say goodbye to Mikel properly. Secondly, despite what anyone else might think, he’s still our most consistent midfielder, if not the outright best. We need all the muscle we can muster against BrazilScipio Africanus wrote:I think BigPorkey should be flogged for this nonsense idea
Cheers.

A Person convinced against his will is of the same opinion still.

I think a testimonial at home would be a fitting tribute. He definitely should be honored.

Bigpokey24, please collect yourself and talk right. Actually, a Testimonial match will be in order for Mikel. But, it has to be on home soil.
