He should improve on his game. I thought he was going to be naija Messi when I saw him played during the Under-13 tournament.

Why Turkey? Why can't our guys go to more mainstream leagues rather than Turkey which is as backwater as it comes?

Even with his limitations and lost form he can do better than Turkey.

... I think it's a combination of factors. In my opinion, it's playing time and money, both of which are more than enough to lure any player to the place

When your own country doesn’t even have a below average league you can’t really say that, he hasn’t proven himself lately so which club in a above average league is ready to gamble on him at present? There are so many players in his position coming out of youth leagues, lower divisions and where he started from so he’s being understandably over looked!

...Turkish league is still decent, many former stars are over there playing.
Btw, most players don't get to walk into a club, they get invited.
One of our guy tried it remember, at epl, he was refused entry into the club gate. I believe Osaze.

He will recover form. He needs our prayers.

Chill with the knee-jerk reaction abeg, the boy is young and definitely needs to get back to form... Nacho definitely has the quality and won't be in Turkey for long, we need to give him all the support.

Great move for him. Some forget our greatest players once played in The same country they disparage.

He needs confidence and game time and is at a club that has worked hard to deprive him of both. Besiktas is a good team and it is just a loan to put his career on the correct course. Anyone complaining is foolish. They could loan him to the Championship, but the same people would still be complaining. Real Madrid are not going to come calling for a player that has been frozen out at Leicester.

That's the most important thing.
As long as he is playing at a competitive level (and Turkey is not 'backwater') he has a chance of getting his mojo back.
He needs a hard reset and this just might do that for him.

Iheanacho is never going to become a great player. His first touch is so bad, he will never be able to cut it at the highest level.

How about Nwakili? Have you now come round to the fact he is not a great player? :sneaky:

And you have quickly forgotten his Man City record?
