Thats his level. People think defending is about brute or athleticism. Its more about intelligence. Being able to read the game, being aware of your surroundings etc etc.
Same applies to Rose, Toby and Sanchez.

How is that not a second yellow on Trent?
2 of the finest indigenous coaches Nigeria ever had lost in a space of 4 days. Dear Lord, is this a sign that you are taking away from us what we failed to appreciate? I pray for forgiveness of our sins. I pray for the humility to recognize our wrongs and the humbleness and wisdom to right our ways.

If that’s the case then why not play Foyth at RB?
I agree. Even KWP is better in my opinion.

Dele gets to play 90 minutes as Lo Celso replace Eriksen.

See Sanchez causing sorts of problems for the defense.

We deserve at least a point in this match but football doesn't always play fair.

After Pochettino takes one step forward with his selection for the Champions league match, he takes two steps backwards with his selection today.

I saw the lineup and said nah. Not today again. I am saving my emotional swings for something else.

I pray results pick up.

Troy Parrot finally gets to make the premier league squad at the expense of Kane who seems to have fallen ill. Absent as well are Jan and Lamela. With the players starting it appears Lucas will be the target man with Son on the wings.

What frustrates me with Poch is that he doesn’t take bold decisions anymore. Why not bench Eriksen for Lo Celso, Sessegnon for Davies, and Foyth for Aurier? It can’t get any worse playing those lads.

Oh well just have to wish the team all the best.

COYS!!!

Oh dear Son, why would u do that? Why Why? Big suspension coming. He has destroyed Andre Gomes and foolish ref gave a yellow before coming 2 his senses and brandishing a red. Son is in some hot water.

Your comment is harsh on Son. His tackle was a routine tackle from behind. Definitely a foul and normally booked as a yellow in this league but for the fact that Gomez suffered a broken ankle. Ironically the main #1 culprit is Martin Atkinson. That man is the worst referee on earth and a hazard to player careers worldwide. Horribly stupid referee.
