We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14

He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14

I think Spain’s by far the best league.

And this is why we need to calm down with the hate against these players.
They put their bodies on the line to entertain us, and sometimes yes the cost is too high.

Richardison's bad reputation as a diver coming home to roast. That was a foul.

One mistake, and Nigerian fans for that matter are out with their knives.

I dont see this kind of vitriol for other players when other players make mistakes.
It is what it is...no surprise here.

They put their bodies on the line to entertain us, and sometimes yes the cost is too high.

Emm, they don't do it to entertain us. They do it because they love the game and get a handsome reward. If I had the chance, I would do it in a heartbeat....and entertaining you will be way down on my list of priorities.

Chicken and egg.
They wouldn't get such handsome rewards and probably wouldn't love the game so much if we were not thoroughly entertained by them.

Not neccessary.
Son in particular is a very decent player.
Not even an Everton player would go that far.
