Let us hope this success continues tomorrow with Ndidi and Iheanacho. I also hope Arsenal, the English team with the largest Nigerian following manages to scrape a win.
They have not won a match since Buhari closed the border and some horrible people say they will not taste victory until it is open again. We are talking about winning a game not lifting trophies.
I believe the last time Arsenal players had their hands on any cups was when they visited Buckingham Palace and the queen hosted them with exotic tea cups. Surely, this must be playing on Freddie’s mind!
