Leicester City Want Injured Ndidi To Skip Super Eagles Games In March Even If He’s Fit

English Premier League side Leicester City are sweating over the injury suffered by their Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi which will see the midfielder miss at least two months on the sideline.

Ndidi’s injury came at a time where the club are pushing to end the season on a high by qualifying for the UEFA Champions League. His absence was heavily felt as they fall to a 1-2 defeat at Southampton last weekend.

His expected return from injury will be likely the end of February and with Nigeria set to begin the race for the World Cup 2022 in Qatar in March, the club are working on ways to see him skip the international games and focus on his recovery.

Leicester City feel his injury is related to the high amount of games he has played since the start of the year and deserve a rest which he could get in in March during the international break.

The aim is to keep him fresh for the business end of the season which will start in April as he risk suffering a relapse if he honour a potential call up to the Super Eagles due to the nature of the playing surfaces in Africa.
The difficulties of statistical thinking describes a puzzling limitation of our mind: our excessive confidence in what we believe we know, and our apparent inability to acknowledge the full extent of our ignorance and the uncertainty of the world we live in. We are prone to overestimate how much we understand about the world and to underestimate the role of chance in events -- Daniel Kahneman (2011), Winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics
