And that Umtiti, this game showed why he lost his spot in the team

Real put in a clinic on how to press teams that love to pass from the back.
Casemiero was majestarial. He was all over Messi like flies on dung.

Vinicius had a good game as well but he is still a headless chicken and should take some passing lessons from Hazard.
He was lucky on that goal (deflection off Pique). The right move was to pass to Carvajal, who was trailing and open with a better angle on goal.
Same applies to Mariano's goal, right move was to pass to Vinicius trailing. He slipped and luckily chipped Ter Stegen on his near post.

Anyway I cant complain too much, 3pts is what its about.
Great game and advertisement for football, as usual.

HALA MADRID!

Where is bret-hart? I know I should not take him seriously, but he has the temerity to say that Zidane is a bad coach. Imagine? Oya, come and talk now, yeye boy. :taunt:

He lost his spot to a long term injury and has not played long and consistently enough to establish a proper rhythm...

Same with Lovren vs Watford...

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp
