Please get ready for the RETURN OF AKPEYI! Not my cuppa tea, but makes sense under the circumstances.

Which Alampasu?
The clubless one back in Naija, reportedly looking for work in 'Europe'?!

Exactly.
KPOM, I'll love to see the reactions here when the team list for the AFCON qualifiers next month is released, and the headline of the day reads: "Out of favor Goalkeeper Akpeyi makes a return to the SE, after post AFCON 2019 absence." :taunt: :D

Okoye has not played much (any?!) senior first team football. To that end I would give Osigwe the edge over him.

New Osigwe video out.

I've also just discovered he repped Nigeria in the 2013 Toulon U21 tournament alongside Wilfred Ndidi, Moses Simon, Semi Ajayi, Jamilu Collins and Shehu Abdullahi.

The difficulties of statistical thinking describes a puzzling limitation of our mind: our excessive confidence in what we believe we know, and our apparent inability to acknowledge the full extent of our ignorance and the uncertainty of the world we live in. He looks solid. My minor "concern" is that his punching shots right in front of him invites rebound opportunities for opponents.

Shots and even crosses.
He seems to prefer punching to catching.
Some keepers are like that but it might be a weakness he has and hence a lack of confidence.

But he seems exceptionally good with BOTH his feet for a 'keeper. :thumb:

I was really surprised to find that he'd been part of our youth set up in the past.

A 26 year old in the Swiss second division doesn't excite me. That being said, he may still be one of our better options.

That was the first thing I noticed and it's not a minor concern. He was doing it too often.... Hope he can improve.

A starter at Swiss second league is actually better than Maduka okoye posiiton, third choice in third division.. When Ghana used Adam kwarasey, he was really a good GK for them.. If you consider Uzoho position ( 22 years) first choice in Cyprus first division ( or second choice at spanish second division). Considering the reality of the age, and Osigwe constant practice, this not a bad option to have.

Correction: Maduka Okoye is currently the second choice for Fortuna in the Bundesliga during the second half of the season. Your info on Maduka is outdated.
