Mi hermano espaniola SENOR Arteta is really pushing the envelope ..:
No Ozil or Guendo in the match day squad!
Wow!
Not a fan of Arteta but I respect his Gangsta line in the sand.
But if the tide goes sideways it’s gonna be an
interesting f*ball locker room

I was looking at the league table and I noticed a few things:

1) Chelsea has lost one more game thank Arsenal this season

2) Man City has lost the same amount of games as Arsenal this season

3) Spurs have lost 2 more games than Arsenal this season

4) Only Wolves (6 losses) and Liverpool (1 loss) have lost fewer games than Arsenal this season

5) Arsenal are the Draw champions of the league - 13 games - only Wolves have the same

6) As we all know we have only won 10 games all season - very poor record

7) Chelsea and Spurs have conceded the same number of goals as Arsenal this season - 41 Goals

8) We have only scored 43 goals this season - 2nd lowest in the top half of the table

It's interesting seeing this because you realize that one of our biggest issues is that we don't control the games enough to score enough goals. If we scored more, we definitely will be higher up the table. If we conceded less, we will also be higher up the table.

Gone were the days with Wenger when we used to control games and still lose, but at least we controlled play, possession, etc. Now we have slacked in that department.

Anyway, just me thinking. Looking at the stats, it gives me a different view. Yes, our season has been bad, but to be sincere, I believe with little tweaks and the right people, we will be challenging for the top 4 again.
Spot on analysis my man. I especially agree with the final paragraph. However, a lot will depend on us keeping our best players. As we all know, getting rid of players you do not want is difficult, selling the ones you want is easy because other clubs want your best players.

If we sell key players from the spine of the team, then we can run into problems next seasons because I have little faith in those doing the recruitment at the club at present.
We have actually improved defensively under Arteta. We have conceded 5 goals in 7 games. That's very good. And if you take off the 3 we conceded against City, it's now 2 in 6 games. If Arteta can maintain that going into next season, and start improving on the attack gradually, we will be solid.

Also, Ozil is done at Arsenal. These guys don't want to pay his wages anymore.

Guys we can still finish in top 5 and play CL if we win all our remaining 6 games even 5 of the last 6 games.
Chelsea and Leicester are not in great form.If things go our away this few games coming up.Hopefully city ban stand and who ever finish 5 can head to cL

6 clean sheets in 14 games with our defence, good lord. The board need to back this guy in the summer. They have to...

PL clean sheets since the start of last season:
Emery - 10 in 51 games
Ljungberg - 1 in 5
Arteta - 6 in 14
Make good thinking a priority so that you can make Godly placement a possibility.

Saka extends his contract!
Part uv me wonders if that’s in the lad’s
best interest staying at the Emirates.
Time will tell.
Please with all due respect,we need guys like that to stay for the better of t he club.
He is still young. He will not start at Manu,Liverpool,City or Chelsea. Not in Barca,Real,PSG or Juve.
So beloved is the best option as he is young and can only get better in 2 or 3 years if we are not getting better he can move away to better team if he keep improving.

Now those draws are killing us.We should have done a double on chelsea,5 points drop,we should be 4th if we had beat chelsea at emirate and madman David did not get send up at the bridge.
Add 5 points and take Chelsea 4 points off.

Saka finally managed to get the burden of the expectations from signing a new contract off his mind. Someone mentioned that something ain't right, yeah, it is either the excitement from the contract or the fact that he has been made to play different roles, from left back, to left side of midfield and now the right side. There is a lot going on in his young mind.

You are judging a kid playing in a different role against one of the best passing team?

Your take so far?
I think Ozil should not be consider as our player.
Pepe should come in second half with his space and tricky style it will help keep Wolves defending.
Guendo is too gra gra to s tart such game.
