not a good choice.

The majority of Tunisia's players are not euro based and thus this creates more difficulty and the likelihood that the match may be cancelled.

Why not play Morocco or Ivory Coast, that can get players entirely from Europe.

On the 9th of October, the Super Eagles will play former African champions, Cote D'Ivoire in a friendly game, then face another African giant and former champions Tunisia, four days later, on the 13th.

Both games will be held in Austria

So Ndidi is expected to quarantine for 14 days after he comes back from International duty?

The NFF should focus on using home based players for the two friendlies.

the games are in Austria.

but you brought up a good point for the November qualifiers.

Apparently FIFA has enacted a rule whereby clubs can refuse to release players for FIFA matches if the players have to quarantine upon return, however this is only temporarily for this current window.

A few players have been declined by their clubs.

If this trend does continue, how will this effect WCQ ?

Will the euro based players be allowed to travel to Africa and return to their clubs in November ?

This will also effect South American and North American teams.

Then CAF,Concacaf and Conmebol might have to result into playing tournaments in the off season, Caf have played the CAN during the European football season so the interruption isn’t new.

Even if the game is played in Austria. Is Austria exempted from the UK 14 day quarantine rule?

Apparently not.
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps said people will need to self-isolate for 14 days on returning from Croatia, Austria and Trinidad and Tobago. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-53854948
More questions than answers if you ask me. Hopefully, the NFF has thought out the entire requirements to prevent our players from pulling out.

Liverpool camped (or is still camping) in Austria this preseason...
I think if a "bubble" is maintained, the players will be exempted from self-isolation requirements.

Nigeria to play CIV and Tunisia next month.

The Super Eagles will take on their African rivals Ivory Coast and Tunisia as part of the team’s preparations for the resumption of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

I think FIFA needs to come up with rules which are clear and manageable by nations. As things stand, no one knows how to deal with the mess at moment. Too many 'ifs.'
And the BIBLE says: The race is NOT for the swift, neither is the battle for the strong nor ... but time and chance makes them all.
Ecclesiastes 1:18: For in much wisdom is much grief and he that increases knowledge increases sorrow.
