Re: Transfer Rumours
Fulham have agreed a deal to take wing-back Ola Aina on loan from Torino with option to buy for €12.5m, claim Sky Sport Italia.
It is a return to his home town, as Aina was born in London and came up through the Chelsea youth academy.
He moved to Torino in 2018, initially on loan and then on a permanent basis for just under €10m.
The Nigeria international is now reportedly on his way to Fulham on loan for €2.5m with an option to buy for €12.5m.
Torino will also retain a 10 per cent cut of any future transfer.
There had been some suggestions it would be an obligation to buy.
He amassed 62 Serie A appearances, contributing one goal and five assists

CONFIRMED: Peter Oghenekaro Etebo to join Turkish giants Galatasaray on loan for the season. Looks like he will be playing Champions League ball this season.
The very best of luck to him.

I like the move but Etebo is now turning into a journeyman type player, he needs to find a permanent team of a higher caliber than Stoke city. If Gala's history is anything to go by he'll play 6 CL games. Goodluck to him.

Re: Transfer Rumours
Solid platform to showcase himself. If they get relegated but he plays well, he will have suitors and move on...just like Nathan Ake, Ramsdale, Jamal Lewis, Callum Wilson etc..EMIR KONGI JAFFI JOFFA wrote:Another relegation battle for him this yr.Tobi17 wrote:Officially confirmed, very good move for him.MAIDABOI wrote:Aina to Fulham?

Re: Transfer Rumours
Turkish 1 Lig is the 2nd division in Turkey. Not ideal for a 23 year old, but better than remaining clueless. Hope this move can be a stepping stone to a better club.

Lol, it’s better than being clubless, and a similar move worked out for his brother and he’s now in La Liga...Bigpokey24 wrote:do you have a better option for him?olu wrote:Turkish 1 Lig is the 2nd division in Turkey. Re: Transfer Rumours
The problem with Etebo is that he’s too much of a utility player. His strength is his weakness. He would be best with a coach who has a long tenure with a club. If he’s at one of those clubs with revolving doors for managers, every new manager has to figure him out. And that’s where his strength becomes a weakness
If purge dey worry you, you no dey select toilet
Re: Transfer Rumours
He's good or ok at several positions but not excellent at any. Early on in his career I felt his best position was either as a wide forward or support striker, but now I hope Galatasary plays him as a CM/DM since that's the position he has mostly played for the SE and Stoke.

Re: Transfer Rumours
His versatility is crazy there were Getafe games where he started as a wing forward then switched to a wingback and ended the game as a DM. But like you guys are saying it’s a gift and a curse.olu wrote:He's good or ok at several positions but not excellent at any. BBC reporting that Everton are willing to listen to offers for Iwobi. He needs to get his act together, they seem to be building something special and he could be a major part of if he gets his act together.
