We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Great header but Bordeaux is not it, very negative team affecting Kalus game seems to just pass backwards these days with the rest of his team, never trying to push things forward.

Yeah Bordeaux's negative style of football stifles him a lot, he's more cut out for a more attacking team.

Can you believe their keeper was already trying to waste time at 0-0 10 minutes into the game.

Junior Pius, one player I've been following for awhile hung twice yesterday for Royal Antwerp.

Kindly bear in mind that he is a central defender.

Since Ekong has decided to move to championship at 27, Pius can step.in

Nice catch on your part.
Glad Junior is now a starter for Royal Antwerp.
Looking forward to him being in the SE mix - he has so much potential but has had a bit of stunted growth in his career.
Wish him all the best.

Onuachu has started this season in fine form. He seems to be the preferred choice to Dessers at the moment at Genk.

Pius maybe one to keep an eye on, however, I rate the championship higher than the Belgian league. I won't be in a hurry to rush Ekong out of the SE just because he moved to Watford. His experience and leadership is valuable and I still rate him as one of our best available CDs.

Now the German boys (Udokhai and Akpoguma), and Adarabioyo, if he commits to Nigeria will provide legit competition for our present CDs. I would take any of the aforementioned 3 ahead of Pius cause they play at a higher level than him.

Despite the hype, it isn't...
More competitive perhaps, but frankly average.
