A really interesting tactical setup and had we been ruthless in front of goal, would’ve won this.

On the equalizer, several individual errors- angle taken by Gini, Mane’s high press which freed up Walker and his failure to recover the space vacated by Gini, etc…
Mane pressed alone and once he missed it, we were out of shape. Firmino needs to be more clinical though. Try chipping that early chance. May or may not go in but he turned a great chance to nothing. He needs something to go his way even only for confidence.
A press was called. Gini should’ve held his position or taken a better angle on his press.

The Firmino play was bizarre. Seemed easier to just lob the GK

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool XI: Alisson, Milner, Fabinho, Matip, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Keita, Jones, Diogo Jota, Mane, Firmino

Subs: Adrian, Minamino, Tsimikas, Origi, Phillips, Clarkson, N. Williams

Our line up for today. Gonna be a tough one dealing with the pace of Barnes and Vardy. Tough one on Neco. If he doesn’t play now, when will he? Needs to fix his posture and look up more which will help with decision making with and without the ball.
We need to keep it tight. Need Keita big time.
Let’s go RedMen! YNWA......

Lovely 1st half. We showed advantage of playing 5 midfielders. We controlled the whole game. I suspect they will press more in 2nd 1/2. We need to be ready. YNWA....

Rodgers needs to have a good look at himself and wonder why TxJ is right about him.

Liverpool made the game look so easy, if Firminho was not wasteful it should have been a handful of goals.

They are good,i enjoy how with alot of players out the game did not look even close one.
I think a team like spurs in few weeks will beat them .Jose will set his team to destroyed any plans and hit them on counter.
City game is an example how spurs deal with them.
If Liverpool dont drop points and get pass Spurs then it will be tough to stop them

Liverpool XI: Alisson, N. Williams, R. Williams, Matip, Tsimikas, Milner, Wijnaldum, Jones, Mane, Salah, Origi

Subs: Adrian, Kelleher, Fabinho, Firmino, Minamino, Diogo Jota, Robertson, Cain, Clarkson, Koumetio

Hope Origi can jump kick on from here. Wonder who plays LT CB. Underrated problem with loss of Gomez is who plays LT CB. Fabinho was good weekend but I don’t think Matip can do it but pray I am wrong. Win this and we take 2 games off. Let’s go again RedMen! YNWA.....

This was bad. Neco, Tsimikas, Origi, Salah all didn’t offer much. Origi should ask for transfer MF go to French league. Something ain’t working for him right now. And to think we gave Brighton in less than 72 hrs.

Welcome back, coward. :D

I fell asleep during the game. Did Atalanta defeat Liverpool's reserves? Cool story! They deserved the win.
