El Merreikh vs Enyimba - Matters Arising

Three kondo in favor of the Sudanese team.

But I guess the million dollar question is why is the NPFL so inferior to the Sudanese league?

Is it a matter of money ? In other words is the Sudanese league richer than the NPFL?

The Sudanese league is definitely among the best in Africa, they've got better financialinvestments for sure...unfortunately it doesn't translate well to their national teams.

More like Sudan's best players play in the Sudanese league, whereas Nigeria's best players do not play in the Nigerian league.

El Merrick bought a player from Enyimba for $1m some years back.. There is plenty of money in the Sudanese league.. FAR richer than the NPFL.

In my view, there is no good reason why teams like El Merreikh and Al Hillal should be better than Nigerian teams by the margins they've shown over the past few years.

Nigeria has the population, talent and money to support a better standard of football by NPFL teams

They have the money. Oil money was invested heavily into Sudanese league during AL BASHIR era.
