I am happy for this victory and Leno come correct today.
Key question is who will play in Smith Rowe position if he is not available?
What happen if Leno is injured?
Those Arteta gave them playing time today those bench warmers.None take their chances to give Arteta headache for selection.
I pray we win our next 3 games or worst win 3 draw 1.Another 3 straight win will put us in a fine position

Another thing today is that the ref did one good thing that stupid red card he gave Smith and cancel it back.

He picks a winning team, he got lucky. He picks a losing team, it is all his fault.

How does this work? :taunt: :taunt: :taunt:
The team was struggling until the last 15 mins of the 2nd half...Picking Willock, Nelson & Willian was criminal.....
He was lucky.....if ESR red card stood, Newcastle would have probably won.....let's see how this season pans out.

I know Willian was not a good buy but how poor is this guy?
Is he just bad or something is not going well for him?

Be patient with him. When his contract is up for renewal, he will be unplayable.

Nelson and Willock are merely black Bellerins, it’s not about their performance and more about the tattoos and celebrity hairstyles. Both are doing a sterling job.

he's been brilliant for Brighton this season, even though the team have been struggling.
....technically much better than Xhaka....the only thing is that he catches alot, are yellow and red cards.

Rumor has been spreading since last week.
More than likely Click-Bait.
He ain’t going for less than £50 mill
and unless key players leave Arsenal
that’s a non starter. And by this I mean, culling
Xhaka at the minimum, and then what does that
do the reported pursuit of a creative midfielder like
Buendia?

Tough one but it’s transfer season and it’s Arsenal rumor
season. The maddest one being the link 2 Granpa Steven Nzonzi.
Day dude is like 80 years old. Who the hell spreads such nonsense.

If we have learnt anything from these last few years and other clubs, Arteta's selection was the best for what he was dealt.

1. he needed to rest Saka and ESR ( they are kids and had played 3 games back to back , recall ESR just recovered from a lengthy injury.
2. martinelli got injured during warm up ( Nelson was not supposed to play)..

His subs ...Laca, ESR, Saka and AMN were really based on rotation and two injuries .

What we need is a second team squad that can pull their weight .. we dont have .... the first team is pretty much sorted ( when Partey is back ) ..

Which bring me to this chase of Bissouma ... In my opinion we dont need him we need an attacking creative ... bomb into the box midfielder..... that actually replaces the goals we lost from Ramsey .. and that is NOT Bissouma.

You mean we need a number 8. I see your point and to an extent I agree. But, when you consider how we have been exposed without Party, I argue a 2nd box to box pivot is more important. At least we will not be exposed should we lose one if we get another.

I have made my case for Tolisso and/or Bissouma. So I won't cover old ground.
Arsène Wenger at Arsenal, 1996 to 2018. I was there.

Hopefully this is the man who can make sense
uv some uv the insanely ridiculous contracts
that this club tends 2 hand out.
And also help us 2 stop letting contracts run
down 2 the end before we sell or extend.

Today could be a tricky encounter.
Palace has been a thorn in the Arsenal
flesh in recent encounters. Plus they have
2 wingers with an axe 2 grind against Arsenal.
Young Eze says being cut by Arsenal as a kid was
devastating to his family and we all know the Zaha
story. Today will be interesting.
