Andrew Abiola Omobamidele
I watched Norwich yesterday and observed a Nigerian centre-back play an excellent and assured game. Andrew is a 19 year old, 6'4. and very skillful defender who can add value to the SE. Although he stood out aerially with some impressive positioning and strong clearances from crosses and set pieces, he was particularly impressive as he showed excellent ability to play with the ball. He was very comfortable with the ball at his feet and distributed it extremely well. He successfully completed 92% of the passes, a key attribute we currently need in our SE.
I noticed a very talented , exciting and composed defender in the mold of great Uche Okechukwu. Born to a Nigerian father and an Irish mother, Andrew is certainly one to pursue for Nigeria.
I will let the authorities know but you can also do your due diligence on this supremely talented and fine centre-back. He is a 'must have' if you ask me.

But at 19, unless exceptionally talented, he'll be such a greenhorn as a centreback.
Interesting though that top-of-the-table Norwich are on track for promotion back to the EPL and he's getting playing time.

Worth saying a few things:
He is not even 19 yet. Birthday is in June
Also, he’s Irish. Youth International. So let’s not quite count him as one of ours yet

He has played for the Irish youth teams, so a major battle must be undertaken to woo him. Omobamidele was born in Ireland to a Nigerian father and Irish mother.

That's correct AY. I have not been excited about the prospects of a player as much as I am right now. He was the man of the match the few times I watched him play for Norwich this season. It is his confidence on the ball that excites me more. He allows Norwoch play out from the back. I know that's what you like AY lol.Ayo Akinfe wrote:He has played for the Irish youth teams, so a major battle must be undertaken to woo him. It is not a matter of what I like. In the modern game, you simply need defenders who can do it because once the high press is applied, if they cannot, you will end up gifting the opposition goals.
Look at how many goals Arsenal have given away this season because their defenders cannot play out from the back. If we go to the World Cup with William Ekong na we and Zaire go dey compete for who concede goals pass! Qatar 2022 will be determined by how teams cope with the high press.

oh my, this none entity has started googling quotes and posting it on CE. try as much as possible to focus , instead of derailing your thread. You are trying to promote some kid , because Norwich are about to get promo( we all know Norwich is trash) guess what Isaac Success and Ekong are also about to get promoted to the EPL.. You are trying so hard to continue to promote championship rejects towards the SE. I mean we all can see the crap Adebariyou is serving Fulham who will get relegated, you can now jump to the next championship trash with a Nigerian name. We all know corruption is the bane of some of you , parading as CE members, but ideally we all know when the worldcup is near , trash like you pop up and start promoting another so called junk prospectdoctorollie wrote:Bigpokey24 wrote:a none entity like you have the audacity t o even post on CE.. frauds like you only come around when there are tournaments so you could pass off some fake cheap trash as a prospect. your corruption knows no bound. keep it up, you will be found out. corrupt agents... get the heck out of here.. we should just find one useless born english man with Nigerian name playing in the sunday league all the way to trash teams in lower divisions all because they are english... get the freak out of here with your corrupt moralsdoctorollie wrote:89,810 achieved! 190 to go.Bigpokey24 wrote:nah real wah, every english based player , some CE folks wants them at the SE....this is get really annoying

Mikel came from the Youth ranks, u17, u20, SE and then the Olympics, every big ups to Mikel was 100% . Mikel is a perfect example how our recruiting systems are / were way better than the trash peak milks and some agents are forcing down inside our necksDamunk wrote:I guarantee you will eat those 12 words, plus some humble pie.Bigpokey24 wrote:oh my, this none entity has started googling quotes and posting it on CE. try as much as possible to focus , instead of derailing your thread.
