MESSI: ICI C'EST PARIS!
MESSI: ICI C'EST PARIS!
PSG land incredible coup of signing Messi to join Neymar and Mbappe in attack.
I think PSG have officially staked their claim to UCL favorites for 2021/2022 season.

Well done to PSG.

Re: MESSI: ICI C'EST PARIS!
when last did Messi win the CL?
how many goals did each of barca's opponent score against barca in the last 3 CL KNOCK OUT?
Where was Messi when Roma, bayern etc etc beat the sheet out of barca 3-0 to humiliate them?

I notice that Pep Guardiola wasn't interested at all in re uniting with Messi.danfo driver wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 7:40 pmwhen last did Messi win the CL?

He also played along and pretended to have known about this when it came out on the news.
Pep must know something better, that Messi wouldn't work well in his team

Thank you. I don't think PSG will got anywhere with Poch.

not only that, the team is also totally imbalance. It is heavy on attack minded players and less players to carry the defensive responsibilities needed for championship run

Not true! They have some of the top defenders and defensive midfielders (or deeplying playmakers in Europe):
Defenders
Hakimi
Kimpembe
Ramos
Maquinhos
Midfield
Veratti
Paredes
Danilo Pereira
I havent even mentioned players who arent good, but are atleast defensive, like Idrissa Gueye, Benat, Kurzawa and Keherer.
Then you have Donarumma and CL winner, Keylor Navas.
PSG is a very balanced team. That is not their problem. Their problem has always been the stage fright and lack of winning experience at CL level. Many clubs go through this-- like Chelsea, when they kept losing in Semi finals etc.

Anyone not respectful of PSG will find out the hard way. Individually, Mbape, Neymar, or Messi
can create headache for any defense. Now the trio of them would be a handful. Any coach having
to prepare for PSG will not rest well the night before they meet. Can't wait for the CL to start.

You forgot they signed Wijnaldum as well and still have players like Draxler.danfo driver wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 12:53 amfuriously frank wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 12:37 amnot only that, the team is also totally imbalance. No you will be hard pressed to find a stronger squad in European club football today than PSG.
The challenge as always will be getting all their talent to gel in a short timeframe.

You have Messi, Mbape, Neymar , Veratti, hakimi, Ramos, etc ... i don tire to dey mention demcharlie wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 2:38 pmYou forgot they signed Wijnaldum as well and still have players like Draxler.danfo driver wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 12:53 amfuriously frank wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 12:37 amnot only that, the team is also totally imbalance. Reims tried though with a bit of luck they could have gotten something out of the game. They weren’t afraid to take it to them.Molue Conductor wrote: ↑Sun Aug 29, 2021 11:56 pm Messi debut

My humble opinion is as long as they have Kimpembe starting in defense they won't smell that CL trophy
And of course Pochettino isn't the man for the job

PSG is a big big foooool! Big fool! They have been going about this the wrong way. Most clubs tried it and failed. Even the great Real Madrid tried it and didnt win much with that project.Comrade Machel wrote: ↑Mon Sep 20, 2021 2:16 pm My humble opinion is as long as they have Kimpembe starting in defense they won't smell that CL trophy

If PSG had sense, they should have gone the Bayern way! Build from the bottom up! Steal all the top talent in Ligue Un and build a solid team. Look at Nkunku? Their youngster they sold off to Leipzig scoring hattrick in CL last week while PSG was struggling for goals. They sold Diaby to Leverkusen. Just to name these two. Rather than running about looking to offer Wijnaldum millions, why not take Camavinga??? especially last year when there was no competition? Bayern is the master of it! They snipe up all the German talent and build a solid team. PSG can do the same in their league and accross Europe, but instead they are going about trying to build what they think is a galactico team. Good luck!
