When football lacks jeopardy it becomes a meaningless exercise
Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

 @Africanus, the outcome couldn’t have been more exact. Stage 1. Complete. Plenty of pig left. Mancunian belly full to firm. Gorged on the cocktail sausages, full gammon on the grill. All the trimmings.

Postprandial dip. City have fallen right into the trap.

TottenHAM. Baton warmly received from the Cottagers. Phase 1 complete. Barely 2 days rest. Up and down the M25 once more. Two lane closures. What to do with the delay? “Anyone for a sarnie?”. “Leroy?”. “Nope, BLT with pork belly jam”.

@Africanus, double the wager. 5/2 on Beloved pipping the tea clothes at the line.

bacon eggs and cheese! Alderton pork sandwich? Carlisle of the Hamptonshire in the Cheshire! What a delayed reaction in the lancastershire? Not at all, just around the Lekki Phase 2 of the Ashburton Sherphard's pie!
