Re: AFTER a 0-2 LOSS TO MALI......My View

I must say I was, and still am rooting for Finidi but his stock went down today, and for me it was not using his subs, this is exactly why we have friendlies, he could have used this to say he "discovered" player x or y, The results is inconsequential but we needed to see more from the pla...

Re: Bright Osayi Gives A Fan The Beating of His Life

This is an open and shut case of self defense, and if the club or federation fines or suspends him, he should lawyer up quickly There are cases where fans invade a rugby pitch to strike a player or the referee, when other players retaliate to protect the fellow players or referee, this is often comm...

Re: Could not score against Ghana in 2 games to take us to the WC, one goal in 7 games at the AFCON

Based on current verdict, I cannot argue with that, of course things can change and he leads us to promised land but indeed for now his record needs improvement. He has the chance to improve on Yekini's record for Nigeria and I thought this AFCON tournament would have brought him closer, he did miss...

You can criticize a man's play but when you descend into questioning him as a person, his character or his family, then his response is fair game
Enough is enough of this nonsense, at what point should we expect decency from fans

Re: Why do our politicians constantly go visit the team in the dressing room during a tournament

Agreed, the changing rooms is a sacred place for the players and staff (coaches, physio, etc) only especially in the build up to a game, there is no need for distraction, including a former player unless he has been invited to give out team shirts and give a pep talk or someting

Re: They were overwhelmed by the occasion

They saved their worst game for the final. Anyway they did well. No they were not overwhelmed. They were poorly coached by a COWARD. I was telling you all through the tournament, but you all insulted me and kept your heads in the sand. 343 is RUBBISH, COWARDLY football. What did you expect. Why are...

Re: Too much negativity..

Thanks for this thread, let it be known that no matter how dissapointed we all are, the players are even more dissapointed We can sit behind a screen and cowardly hurl names at the players or insult them, but they are the ones sweating it for 90 plus minutes a game and doing their best. They have fo...

Forgive me for being the old man here but 40yrs ago , I was glued to my TV watching Nigeria take silver medal in the same location, and we scored first, but the result was a bigger hammering than this one

Re: See Attacking training that Peseiro is putting Super Eagles on

This is what gets me ! the players especially Kele, Simon and Ademola don’t practice set pieces so come match day waste all the corner kicks and free kicks. The South Africans all play in SA but you could see they practice free kicks and almost scored against us Yes, we have never really had free k...

My people, tell me, why is Nwabali playing in South Africa? Is he not good enough for Europe? He has really impressed me. But what do I know about footie? Can the exparts here explanate to me why he is still in SA? African ‘keepers in Africa hardly get a look-in in Europe and therefore have to be e...
