Re: Can the SE win 6 WCQs?
Lesotho lost, so Rwanda and SA are joint leaders . Naija plays Rwanda next and SA plays Lesotho next. Nine months until the next set of fixtures in March. We must come correct. No margin of errors. Six wins and we qualify or get a playoff route All countries play 10 games in total using South afric...

Re: Rumors Finidi
They are probably going to sack him. Which would be a mistake. The next coach will also go through growing pains. A top official has told only SCORENigeria that one of the Super Eagles stars was very unprofessional in training camp for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin as...

Re: Benin 2 (Dossou, Mounie) Nigeria 1(Onyedika)
Bassey’s defending for the Beninoise first goal is as though he is on vacation. Dude literally walked into camp from vacation after having not played a competitive game since May 19th. It showed! If these guys were serious about their careers and going to the worldcup, they would have planned their ...

Re: Benin 2 (Dossou, Mounie) Nigeria 1(Onyedika)
I told you guys that Perseiro knew this team will not qualify for the worldcup from a group that has SA after AFCON - he almost had a heart attack. The guy realized that these payers are crap and ran away. IMO, Peseiro already knew this even before the AFCON. Getting to the AFCON final did not conv...

Re: SE v SA predictions
You've listed your line up and done all the speculation you want. Oya, predict the score. I think it's either going to be a high scoring game or a grind. If it's a high scoring game the SE will win 3-1. If it's a grind it'll be 1-1. Final prediction- SE 3 - SA 1. Benin 1 Nigeria 0 Forget about 2026...

Re: What if we lose to Benin?
To qualify they need to take the pragmatic approach 3-4-3, 3-4-2-1 and be in formation. Rohr will play his 4-2-3-1 and work from setpieces. Na dem sabi if dem like make dem no qualify . Not my career Agreesd! After all, we are fans. Can you imagine Osimhen for all his prowess is primed to miss his ...

They have an over-bloated sense of worth that is not grounded on reality and merit. That’s how a lot of Nigerians operate and it reflects on the society.

Re: Nigeria can still qualify for the World cup
they have not lost a single game That means nothing if they’re are not winning matches either and conceeding goals. You will never qualify for worldcup by drawing all your matches. Listen to Hugo Broos post-match conference - very smart experienced coach. This team will not beat SA in Joburg and wi...

Re: How will SA approach the game?
We have a better attack and midfield, infact we have more attacking midfielders in this tie than ever before (Iwobi, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Olawoyin and even Ndidi provide the attacking outlets)...we will outscore SA for sure, my only fear is that defence. The team has struggled to score or create ev...

Re: SE vs SA/Benin camp updates
For such a crucial worldcup qualifier, I have to admit the preparations have been nothing but shambolic. We will have a very very hard time against South Africa and Benin. Will probably lose to SA and draw with Benin at best given the circumstances.

Re: Osimhen out of WCQ
Osihmen for all his talent and prowess, runs a real risk of never playing at a fifa senior worldcup at this rate. This is a real possibility. If we miss this coming WC, it’s practically over for him.

According to score Nigeria KOC is saying the new coach will be announced today. He said it is between Finidi and Amuneke. According to his Twitter handle. What I don't understand is how are they able to afford the trip to Paris? How much is a trip to Paris for God’s sake? :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf...

At a certain stage, I believe it was the 2008/9 season, Obasi was rated alongside Franck Ribery as the best player in the Bundesliga [/quote Obasi was Firminho’s strike/forward partner at TSG Hoffenheim. That guy is ridiculously talented but was hampered by bad injury. He was the most talented play...

Re: Former NFF President, Amaju Pinnick backs Finidi George for the Super Eagles job
That is as good as confirmed that Finidi will continue. If José Peseiro handled AFCON despite his disastrous performance in all matches before then, then it means Finidi will continue despite his mixed bag at friendlies. The sad thing is he won't have a water-tight contract or earn anything near ou...

Re: It is April 7th, the NFF still have not named a coach for the SE
They should name Finidi the coach. Appoint a solid backroom staff. They need to start preparing. Sout Africa will be coming to win in Nigeria. And it is doable. If the likes of Guinea Bissau can do. And the mighty Siera Leone can come back to tie a game 4-4 in NIgeria. South Africa will fancy their...
