A similar report is published on BrilaFM website. People here tend to disparage owngial all the time. But each time there reports end up being true.

Re: Overall good test games for Nigeria/NFF keep Finidi
Ohenhen couldn’t be more accurate. The NFF have no clue the depth of the whole this team/they are in. Perseiro is smart and knows this team will have a very very tough/slim chance of qualifying after almost having a heart attack on the sideline against SA at AFCON. This SE full strength or not, will...

Re: SE Result against Mali - a case of the lineup?
Nigeria 0 - 2 Mali International friendly; 27th March 2024 1) Sad game. Awaziem gifted Mali a goal with a careless pass across the defense. 2) We made too many backward passes and not enough attacking plays. 3) Finidi showed poor man management and made very late changes. (You can be sure some play...

Re: Nigeria vs Mali(0-2) FT
Finidi has issues with making subs. That’s a problem with Nigerian coaches that I have seen coach the SE except Siasia. That’s a big problem. Doesn’t seem like he will be a good candidate for the permanent position.

Re: Nigeria vs Mali(0-1)
Simon had no business clattering into the goalie given the quality of the pass that was played to him. His poor touch unfortunately endangered him.

Re: Nigeria vs Ghana (2-1) Desser , Lookman FT
Eager to see how we do against Mali. I think they should be a tougher opponent than Ghana While Mali may be a better team than Ghana, the psychology for that game will be different versus the Ghana game which is a massive derby - Ghana will always play their hardest even in their worse form. Don’t ...

Re: FINIDI GEORGE.....Pressure, Opportunity, and Tomorrow
Make no mistake about it, Finidi and the authorities know that this is an auditioning weekend for Finidi. If he fails, he can kiss the job good bye.. That includes even maintaining the Chief Coach position. He will be replaced. Thus, he is at fever-pitch, shivering, and he knows very well that he w...

Re: 26 WCQ - Have we fumbled?
The logic behind hiring a coach after wasting the two friendlies has to be the dumbest move ever. NFF wants a foreign coach based on inside report and do not plan to make Finidi the longterm coach for the qualifiers. But yet, they have Finidi managing the two friendlies. Just let that shitzs sink in...

Re: "FULL LIST": All the top coaches who applied for Super Eagles job
So NFF plans to unveil/hire a coach in April after wasting the friendlies in March. What kind of logic is that? So what is the usefulness of the March friendlies if you dont have the coach who would oversea the WC qualifiers in place before the March friendlies? The insanity of these people is unbel...

Re: Yakubu: My Infamous 2010 Goal Miss | Feed the Yak Podcast
That 2010 WC was very strange. It was as if the team was cursed. Everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong, in every game! Missed chances, red cards, boneheaded decisions. Everything! Na reeeeeallll waaaaaa!! That was exactly how i saw that tournament for us. The team was a strong team and ...

Re: SE list for March Friendlies - Osho & Tanimu new names
Good squad. Notable omissions: Chukwueze, Moffi, Ogbu, and Orban (what does he have to do in order to get into the team?) Surprising inclusions: Sadiq, Dessers, and Taminu Very odd that Sadiq (who is a reserve at Sociedad) was picked but Moffi and Orban (who are first 11 starters at their clubs) we...

Re: Vacancy 1
My addition. We have the seen the effects of the defeatist mentality of the fraud, masquerading as a coach, in the person called Rohr. We have the seen the effects of the too-scared-to-go-forward mentality of Peseiro. In case you didn't get the memo, we are in a purgatory. There is a saying out the...

Re: Vacancy 1
This is not how a competent federation goes about hiring a coach. These guys are so amateur. A competent Federation would already have a list of 2 - 3 candidates - contact them based on fit and philosophy, and then negotiate a deal. This is just some caricature shitzz. Nigeria is doomed. Now they wi...

Re: Ejuke showcases Okocha-like ability in Belgium: Time to replace subpar Chukwueze?
Impressive “freestyle” footballing. Before casting the dye, lest one forget, Chukwueze too has a YouTube compilation worthy accolade. Drag backs, stepovers, lollipops, Jolly Ranchers. Both, on their day, are talented entertainers. From an actual “footballing” point of view, is there any difference ...

Why Perseiro Left
I don’t think Nigerian fans understand the real reason Perseiro left. The SE are out of the world-cup. Why wait to have that tag on him when the reality right now is that we are not going to qualify. I pity any local coach that will take that job and end up with the tag of having failed to qualify t...

Re: Our Osimhen vs Juventus
Osimhen got to do better. A top striker has to know how to take penalties. That’s how you pad the stats and win titles. Or else he’s going to end up being average and win nothing. What’s the problem- psychology and lack of confidence? Common dude. How about striking the ball with power and venom? No...

Re: BREAKING: Peseiro quits as SE coach
We have been gamed by Peseiro. How do you leave your team in the middle of the WCQs? I agree that the conditions of his service left a lot to be desired. He’s not paid as at when due and he also has to pay for his assistants from the salary. He also has to pay tax on the salary, so at the end of th...
