Re: Yaya Toure charged with drink driving
Wow, thought he was a practicing muslim. Rwad again: The Ivory Coast player, 33, told a court he thought he was drinking diet cola from a jug at a party, without realising it had brandy in it.    It's like Ibrahim Tanko swearing that he pulled on a cigarette in a party but did ...

Re: VICTORY MARCH FOR AFRICAN CHAMPIONS
Wow, no wonder African football is stagnant or being overtaken by Asians.
African FAs need to be independent from government funds, otherwise stuff like that will keep happening. Easier said than done.

It will be interesting to see how Mikel fares at another club. He should try a loan deal and the fresh air outside London.

Meanwhile Ghana has Azonto Dancer & Musician Asamoah Gyan as captain.

You are inconsiderate and this is me trying to be polite. After 10 years of service and having won everything, you choose to judge him because of off the field situation and even try to bring his personal life into it. You should add Yaya Toure and Fabregas to your list as well and also give us exc...

Re: African legends in the Bundesliga ...
Yeah, Souleymane Sane definitely belongs to this list. An African Bundesliga Legend's list without him is useless. In my opinion he comes in third place behind Yegola & Okocha.

No African comes near Okocha & Yeboah in the Bundesliga history.
There is even an Eintracht Frankfurt Fan-club called Yeboah's Witnesses (Zeugen Yeboah's).

Egypt will make a record-extending 23rd Nations Cup appearance, having missed out on only eight tournaments including the 2012, 2013 and 2015 editions after being dearly affected by political turmoil in the country. http://english.ahram.org.eg/NewsContent/6/52/246126/Sports/National-Teams/Live-Draw-...

Nothing to do with where I come from .. just having the feeling that Algeria will get a boost under the new coach and can only improve as compared to vs Cameroon. The normal 'feeling' in such circumstances is the opposite. You just don't sack a coach barely a month to a crucial game. I'm sure you w...

This is how it would end:
1. Nigeria
2. Algeria
3. Cameroon
4. Zambia
Zambia are the bogey boys here. Watch Cameroon beat them like thieves next month.

Gernot Rohr has been a good coach from day 1 he started coaching. He is one of my all-time favorite coaches. With him Nigeria will qualify and may even make it to the semis in Russia.
