Re: Rohr Q & A Interview - 27Oct2021
Sigh! In summary, we don't have big stars playing in big teams (such as Borussia Dortmund) unlike other African teams. We also have a young team that is still learning. Ighalo is needed so that he can continue to teach the rest of the team. He doesn't pick more local based players because of a rela...

Re: Fire Rohr ....
I doubt Rohr will get a job in the second division in Europe's top leagues. We always hire these come from nowhere oyibos to coach simply because we have low self-esteem. We are quick to fire the likes of Keshi or Amodu (both Rip), while the likes of Rohr get 5 years to develop a team. Rohr said th...

Re: Pitso Mosimane just left AL Ahly
Pitso is a big fan of the Super Eagles and it would be a good combination but I doubt the NFF will buy into it. There we go again. And what exactly makes this guy better than Amuneke or Finidi? They are very qualified, are wonderful products of the core of our football culture, and have excelled at...

Re: Mr. ROHR....Simple Advice
Hmmm. I think it is difficult to defend him at this point. He's had 5 years to imprint a pattern of play with this team. But today it seemed as if this is the first time they played together. There is really no excuse for this. I think it is fair to say he's failed and plans should be afoot for a n...

Re: Where's DAMUNK?
So you didn't see anything wrong with collective player attitudes on the field? One of our problem is that of too many cooks that spoils the broth. Prejudicial hyping of players doesn't help, nor watching the game with too much emotion. Italy lost to Spain yesterday, but you can still see that they...

Re: Nigeria 0 vs CAR 1 Live
Guys, look on the bright side. If we're going to have a stinker, this is the best time to have it. We still have a small buffer keeping us at the top of the group. The team can now be seriously reassessed, and I hope Rohr is up to it. He has had 5 years, and is not up to it. When would it sink in? ...

Not true. This coach is really poor. We should have been told thanks after the last Afcon.wanaj0 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 07, 2021 7:05 pmActually we dont have any coach that can do 'better'Eaglezbeak wrote: ↑Thu Oct 07, 2021 6:58 pm The NFF can’t afford to pay him off (misspent priorities) so we’re stuck with him.

Re: Nigeria 0 vs CAR 1 Live
Well, there are no minnows in African Football. The coach was not motivated because he was being owed. Lagos does not provide homefield advantage. The pitch was piss poor. It was the Jersey. CAR has better players playing in bigger leagues. He should do the honorable, and resign. Quite humiliating....

Hope we finally realize the Coach is poor. No strategy, poor selections. Not worth qualifying is this is what we have to display.

the last time I watched Awoniyi he just seemed like a jambody striker to me. This was last season. Has he improved his game ? It is still early in the season but check out videos of some of the goals he has scored lately and tell me what you think https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Z2NmLK81i4 https:/...

Re: Kingsley Micheal: I was Picked on Merit
Not sure about being Antwerp's best player. He was on the bench in the important Europa League second leg qualifier against Omonia Shehu's team), and was subbed off at the start of the second half of last Sunday's league game against Leuven? I suspect you are one of those who "watch" game...

Re: Kingsley Micheal: I was Picked on Merit
Alhassan Yusuf I've watched a few times for Antwerp and he has always been their best player. Full of energy, covers every blade of grass on the pitch, tackles, and can pick a pass, drives forward at times too. Just what we need in our team, yet Rohr went for a guy just because he plays in Serie A,...

I do not think he merits being in our best 22. I have watched him so many times, and I do not understand the hype.Eaglezbeak wrote:At least Lookman if this is even true can stick to what a winger should do and at a slightly above average level regularly and a few outstanding performances here and there!

Re: Nigeria v Cameroon part 2 Starting Lineup
It seems anything to get Musa in the side. Including playing a 2 man midfield with only one them defensive. What exactly is Musa's role; playmaker (obstructing iwobi)? wing (obstructing Simon)? support striker (obstructing Nacho)? Baffling.

Re: Objective report off the match from Camfoot
I only watched the second half. The two teams don’t belong on the same field. Nigeria far superior in every aspect of the game. Yes our full backs were limited offensively, and the finishing was woeful especially with Simon and Iheanacho. But organisationally, tactically and technically, we were mi...
