Re: Obiora Ripe for SE

This is why I am pissed off at Rafa Benitez, before his arrival, Inter had agreed a deal to loan out both Obiora and Joel Obi to Parma to get first team football. He came in and cancelled the deal, Udinese tried to get Obiora at the last day of the transfer market but he vetoed it, only to keep bot...

Re: My Thoughts .......

Good write up on the whole, however, as per Siasia's wage demands, they are as outrageous as you may well think. Its all about self worth. Demanding $1m per annum from a body that deemed it worthy to pay a mercenary multiples of this for a few weeks gig is ok in my books. Afterall in life. you set y...

Re: Hodgson: Babel in last chance saloon

Not a very good coach from what I've seen of Pool so far this season. He's taken a good squad and made it averagely English. Getting rid of Babel would be in line with this Roy is not a good manager?   A so-so coach in my opinion, perhaps slightly above average. There is a reason wh...

The bail terms are ridiculous and frankly unfair. The Judge is better served refusing bail rather than setting conditions the accused are unlikely to meet.

Re: On the SE job

I had a chat with a couple of members of the NFF board yesterday, and I later spoke to Keshi (he is here in the States at the mo). Most of the folks in the board are not Siasia fans. No surprise there. And they are also irked that he appears to have taken it for granted that the job is his. He even...

Re: Odegbami: "I’m still in NFF race"

Segun Odegbami's position in PTF which continues to hold an adversarial stand to the NFF is likely to impact him. Mathematical has to reach out and woo the delegates. BTW most of the delegates are pissed off at his petitions asking FIFA to order a suspension of the elections until the state electio...

I guess we'll see when your Sheikh gets overly bored and moves on to the next toy - I wonder who will pick up the pieces. History is littered with broken teams left to fend for themselves after Sugar-Daddy moves on: Lazio, Pompey, Leeds, Napoli, Liverpool (unfolding...), Chelsea (trying to mitigate ...

Re: Kevin Prince Boateng now in AC Milan

This arrangement with Genoa owning him and then loaning him out is not all that unusual in Italy. I'm not sure of the circumstances regarding this signing but this type of arrangement has been worked out in the past where a club wants a player but they get another Serie A club to pay the transfer f...

Ikpeba strikes as a knowlegeable guy. Crystallising his thought and presenting it in an eloquent fashion is a very rare trait amongst Nigerian Sports people - Ex or Current.

Perhaps he could get into Administration and try and practise his sermon.
