Re: Salisu Yusuf is back as Assistant coach

The question is how significant is the role of our assistant coach? Can the results during and after he was the team be attributed to him? I don’t think so.
If it wasn't, why are they bringing him back?

Re: Salisu Yusuf is back as Assistant coach

What's important is this: What were the results when Salisu was in the team and after Salisu was sacked.

Interesting. Certain CEs (names withheld) have told us in the past to ignore the messenger and LISTEN to the Message. Now they are destroying the messenger because they despise the message.

Re: Salisu Yusuf is back as Assistant coach

But that will not get them a top coaching job with the media reminding everyone at the least. Shane Warne. In early December 1998, the Australian Cricket Board revealed that three years earlier it had fined Warne and Mark Waugh for accepting money from a bookmaker (allegedly a man named John who wa...

Re: Salisu Yusuf is back as Assistant coach

This is normal for Nigerians (bribes and fraudulence)only if someone has lived in a fully functioning society would they understand that this man shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the sport. Like when top players (cricket) from Australia, England, India took money in exchange of pitch information.

Re: Where's DAMUNK?

So what type of CV would a potential successor need to have in your book? Because we have to match expectations with reality. The 'expectations' being: 1. Who we NEED to engage 2. What he is expected to achieve 3. What we define as 'failure'. Let's do the hard thinking NOW and see where we get. Big...

Re: I AM NOW 100% BEHIND SACKING GERNOT ROHR

Pinnick should also go. BtW no one cares if you are behind sacking Rohr or not. The guy should have been sacked after the 2018 world cup in Russia. Nigeria just wasted 3 years in valuable WC preparation time. Pinnock is the best NFF chairman in our lifetime. It would really be a sad day for Nigeria...

Re: Where's DAMUNK?

Don't be quick to make such statements without the facts. Now let's look at some facts... Keshi was paid N5m per month in 2013 and it was increased to N7m per month in 2014. Keshi initially wanted N15m per month after his "success" at the World Cup but the NFF negotiated it down to N7m pe...

:rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: Impressve yes, but that was simply a matter of fixture timing. Delay the game by 24 or even a mere 4 hrs and that 'record ' might not exist. Nothing to do with what actually transpired on the field. Have you by any chance looked at the actual games played in both qualifi...

Re: Where's DAMUNK?

For the record so I am not accused of lacking objectivity, Rohr conducted the most impressive WCQ campaign the Eagles ever successfully did . That earned him the right to take the team to Russia. The moment he failed to go past the 1st round, he should have been sacked. Not true sir. France 98 qual...

Re: Goodswill Akpabio Stadium Uyo

100% agree but this NFF is too stupid and corrupt. The whole point of playing at home is to have maximum advantage. When you play on a bumpy pitch you are handing over the advantage to less technical team, and if they are parking the bus you give them even more advantage. The lack of planning and f...

I thought he already found Onyeka (EPL), Bonke (Champions League), Kingsley (Serie A)? And we are still waiting for Nwodo, Nwakali and Alhassan. If by now guys don't realise that we don't have quality players, then the fans are also part of the problem. We don't have quality players, and CAR has a ...

Re: Goodswill Akpabio Stadium Uyo

Why not ask pinnock questions about football development plans?

In 5 years, Rohr can't find suitable replacements for Ndidi, Etebo and Iwobi.

The policy of exclusively recruiting from overseas as not yielded the desired effect.

they are now winning 3-1 the point was not even the score, but how Ghana was moving the ball, and how they were utilizing the midfield. Also when they started to be overrrun the coach switched the formation from a 4123 to a 433, he solidified the midfield and removed an attacker to stabilize the si...
