Re: Cote d'voire 3-0 Uganda
My regional brother @Kabalega fear not!
I'm rooting for the Uganadans as our representative. I predict that the Cranes will qualify as runners-up, behind group winners Egypt.

Re: Egypt or Ivory Coast will win AFCON 2017
Nobody is giving Havre Renard a chance? Morocco have called up a very strong squad. He left off Ziyech who turned down a Dutch call-up to play for Morocco! :woot: His squad selection has the Moroccans raging mad before a minute has been played. why did he do this ? He preferred Boussoufa and Boufal...

Those players should be banned from club pay for duration of AFCON. Even with FA problems, these guys were happy to collect caps when their club situations were less settled. Shameful stuff

It'd be nice to link up all three forums: Zambia, Algeria and Cameroon so we can monitor the mood.
For Algeria its DZFoot, but posts are mostly in French.

Of course it was the senile and racist old man Le Roux behind this claim. Same guy who said Aurier should go to jail for some comments on a video.

Re: Morocco Banned
TG, let's be real, there's a long history of hosts benefitting from bias *including* North African hosts( Tunisia 2004 included). Tunisia just happened to fall on the short-end of the stick this time but the same could very likely have happened if Morocco was still hosting. Tunisia-Senegal in 2004 w...

Re: Morocco Banned
Actually, politically, Morocco has been more helpful to the Ebola affected nations than their neigbours. I think Royal Maroc is only African airline that still has regular flights with Guinea and Sierra Leone. Morocco should be punished for the last-second pull-out but the punishment should be the s...

The Secret to CIV's New Success
Dropping Copa Barry and Kalou and finally replacing DD. The first two were the biggest weaknesses in their squad for nearly a decade but were somehow undroppable. DD stepped away at the right time. DRC hasn't been anything special in this tourney although they played them well in qualifying. Regardl...

The Herve Renard effect. He has taken this team to a new level IMO. A quality tactician. ...did he not flunk somewhere recently before this team? Jumping on bandwagon with it suits yah :taunt: International football is a different game. He took a bunch of "hey yous" to win the ANC in 2012...

Sub standard competition. Been substandard since 20006. Poor organisation, timing keeps robbing us of our best players attending either freighting injuries etc. I would host it every 3 or four years for starters makes players hungry to qualify and attend So who are the great players who aren't atte...
