Re: LET US TALK ABOUT THIS SEX PARTY

There is no correlation between sexual activity and athletic performance. The myth that having sex before a game hinders performance has long been debunked. But, yes, I agree, their behavior was very unprofessional and they should face sanctions. Professional footballers and sportsmen need adequate...

Re: DISCUSS: With Rohr gone, who are most vulnerable players? (Incl. % Probabilities)

Actually, I also think Nacho should be in the vulnerable group.
Mainly because he promises more than he delivers.
By reputation alone, much is expected…maybe too much.
That’s why he is vulnerable IMHO.

Re: Who should lead the attack at AFCON?

My choice is Sadiq. He is the real deal. The closest to Osimhen in terms of keeping a defense in the edge. But one hopes Rohr actually had him on the submitted initial AFCON list. Rohr has had him twice on his invited lists but club no gree am come. So Sadiq is def on the radar, and on merit withou...

Re: DISCUSS: With Rohr gone, who are most vulnerable players? (Incl. % Probabilities)

Great thread. I believe Onuachu will join the Most Vulnerable list. I don’t think the fate of the HB players will change much unless a ‘quota system’ clause is cleverly written into the new coach’s contract. A new coach should be grounded in reality not fantasy if he wants to succeed. New call-ups m...

Re: Nigeria Can No Longer Guarantee Rohr's Safety.......

This stupidity needs be nipped in the bud by the government. What some might think is a joke is what can cause a lot of damage to the country. Nigerians should realize that the lawlessness we are used to may not be acceptable world wide. If we want to belong to the community of nations, we should s...

Thank you OJB sports.

Next time, whether in jest or if he means it, he should be a bit more careful with his words.
Chief, it wasn’t in jest….unless you classify irony as “jest”, which would be a mistake.

Re: Nigerian journalist query LIVERPOOL boss for calling AFCON small tournament.

You guys need to see the interview. It wasn’t jest, it was irony. He was actually making the point that it is a big deal. If you watched it, you would understand. It was like the phrase “there’s only the small matter of x y z”. I’m all for holding people to account, but we water down the point and ...

Poor guy. He plays with all his heart and energy. It’s so evident each time you see him. It also sounds like he had a maxillary s...

Re: Klopp - AFCON is "some little tournament in Africa"

Klopp's command of the English language failed him here. In colloquial English if you want to remind someone of something significant that they are overlooking, you start with "There is the little matter of <overlooked thing>". Klopp fudged up the "little" adjective and should h...

Re: Who should lead the attack at AFCON?

New coach + star injury = New opportunities. Enter Awoniyi, Sadiq, Moffi Exit Onuachu, Ighalo Remain Nacho. I'd go with Awoniyi Denis , sadiq.and Onuachu. Camp is open to fight for shirts once again. Coach Rohr has tough decisions to make. I don’t think there’s any advantage in having both Onuachu ...

Re: Who should lead the attack at AFCON?

What happened to Onyekuru? The few times I watched him in the Turkey league, he played very well. Why is he not being mentioned, or invited? Onyekuru has dropped down the pecking order IMHO. Not that he is “useless”. It’s just that there are too many others performing better. Denis still dey. Desse...

Damunk, I actually do not think the guy's report is 4-1-9. What I do agree is that it is his personal view and not drawn directly from FIFA report. However, there is no place in the guy's report where he wrote that he obtained his views from the FIFA Report. I may have missed it but if you can you ...

Osimhen will be a big miss if he doesn't go to Afccon. Nigeria currently don't have a repacement playing at the same level. He should look for a 2nd opinion. Maybe other treatments that can speed up his return. Afcon is like 2 months away. Nigeria should still take him if there is a chance he can p...
