Re: African countries need to figure out why they lose talen
The loss of sport talents is extremely minimal compared to the loss of Engineers, Technicians, Doctors, Economics and Financial experts, ... etc. Here is the real question for Africans: How can Africans, who have gained massive experience in foreign countries (USA, Europe, ... etc) pay Africa back?...

Re: TOO MANY AFRICANS PLAYING FOR FRANCE
African countries cannot compete with countries like France, England, US, Belgium, etc that get the best players from all over the world. Meanwhile we are expected to succeed with players in the SW when even 3SC have not been able to find a single decent player from there in 30 years.  :...

Re: WORLD CUP DEMISTIFIED
One thing that was obvious in Russia - World cup is not where you go to wao everyone with your skills because at the end of the day it's either you have your maximum or minimum point required to advance to next stage. And once in knockout stage the skills requirements decreases even further because...

Re: FIFA BAN LOOMS: FG directs Chris Giwa to Take over
I hope it is true. Mr Picnnick's tenure has been a major disappointment and an absolute embarrassment to the government. In spite of the gargantuan support from the government nothing to show for it . Not even one success event has been recorded since their inception but failures upon failures , It...

Re: ROHR: TO STAY OR TO GO
Rohr is two years into the rebuilding process necessitated by missing 3 out of the past 4 Nations Cup tournaments. We were at our lowest point ever as far as I can remember and had the daunting task of overcoming a group of fellow African Nations Cup winners to go to the World Cup. Virtually nobody...

Re: BRAZIL 0 MEXICO 0 ( 1st half.)
Majority of Nigerian players are playing at a higher level than Mexican players, but you wouldn't notice the difference between the Mexican and Brazilian. If a coach doesn't believe in the players at his disposal, he cannot lead them.

You have to earn your luck. I am fed up with all these silly excuses, Rohr and the SE are just not good enough to compete at world cup level.

Re: Grp H (Senegal 0 vs Colombia 1)-(Japan 0 v Poland 1) FT
I can watch the WC in peace now. African teams must do better Chief, not in the next world cup, because we will see this same crap again. We need to invest for 2026 and 2030, and start producing players with the right combination of technical skills and football intelligence; we need to produce our...

For me I think he was outcoached at critical times..but hey..what do I know? He was. He was outcoached twice. Still don't know what Rohr was thinking with the lineup and formation against Croatia. It's like all the friendlies we played never happened and we went straight from qualifiers to the WC. ...

Re: ROHR FAILED....
With South Korea's performance over Germany it makes a mockery of Rohr's daft perspective. One thing I admire about the Asian teams particularly South Korea and Japan is that they play without fear. If their players had the quality of African players they'd do far better. It's called self-belief an...

A small team with only one EPL player defeats Germany, but when it comes to Nigeria, we get the typical lazy excuses: "they are young", "they play for weak clubs", "this is their first tournament". Nigeria has better players playing at the highest level than S Korea, Sw...
