Re: WAFU B U17 - GHANA OUT!!!!!

This is really sad ! The Ghana team is a very good one! CAF must change this WAFU format rubbish, as it is not fair to have Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso compete in the same qualifying series as these are countries with strong youth football system

ohenhen1 wrote: Fri May 24, 2024 8:26 pm i don't think the list is complete. Onyeka and Chukwuze could also be replaced. I only counted 23 players. They are going to call up more players. Maybe another CB and LB.
But you have no problem with the division2 benchwarmer in the list abi ?

Re: ademola lookman the 2nd best SE

This man does not get enough love on this site. He is by far the best player outside of Osimhen. Not sure how the Three Lions let this one get away. You can imagine someone said the new coach should play Kelechi ahead of him. Kelechi has been one of the great disappointments for someone with such p...

Re: Ademola on the Left, VO9 In Middle, but...

Who is going to be on the right? I hear you guys say Chukwueze has improved. Just imagine you have someone of similar quality on the right. It cannot be Chukwueze; it has to be someone who can pay with both legs, cross the ball, and attack the goal like Ademola. Moses Simon is here to stay, unfortu...

The lads are balling ! The team played really well... With better finishing, it could easily have been 5 or 6. PS: African refs have to do a better job on calling the agricultural tackles... Apart from protecting our kids, it'll hurt these other African teams at the WC. https://www.youtube.com/watc...

Re: U17 WAFU B Qualifiers - Nigeria (1) v Niger (0)

This must be the tallest U17s in our history. I agree with you on this. These current Eaglet on average have height relative to other set I have seen in recent. Even right from the goalkeeper. My Guess was that considering that we were going to play Sahara desert countries like Niger and Burkina Fa...

Re: U17 WAFU B Qualifiers - Nigeria (1) v Niger (0)

I think the MRI is a blessing to African football no matter its challenges. One of the key observation and consensus particularly from the analyst in this WAFU U-17 tourney is that the MRI has made it such that African countries are beginning to feature genuinely young lad in the U-17 competition. ...

Re: U17 WAFU B Qualifiers - Nigeria v Niger

The usual problem with Nigerian teams. We struggle to create much in the 3rd half. We are now playing long balls that are easily being cut out. You can’t assemble a team 5 days before the competition and expect to dazzle the opponent. We need to embrace good prep and constant improvement rather tha...
