Re: Finidi had no assistant coaches vs Ghana/Mali
And which dreamers among us herein were clamoring for Maurinho, Guardiola,
and some other fancy coaches for the SE? Some of us are quite deluded and unrealistic.
Imagine and $80,000/month coach handling a match with no assistants due a rotten NFF?
We are a bunch of delusional dreamers.

Congrats to Finidi, if true. Why take so long?
I hope the NFF provide him with necessary support, and the 'agents' let him perform his appointed job.

I wish the NFF can be transparent about what is going on around the glass house.
Again, our culture of having deliberations on public affairs among a clandestine
group whose main interests and decisions rest on the whims of selfish individuals.

Re: Congratulations to the Legend from Ajegunle
The worst thing to happen to our football is the Class of '94. Despicable bunch! :curse: :veryangry: Not quite Bro. It's the social culture of how we do things that has infected the behavior of some of them. Why do you think anyone of that class has much 'pull' on how decisions are derived? ...

Re: Nigeria integrity matters in appointing Super Eagles coach, House Committee tells NFF, Ministry of Sports
First, these conniving minds need to learn the meaning of INTEGRITY to apply it in the discussion of appointing an SE coach. Same folks who refuse to inform on how and where they get their funding, pay coaches and associated assistants on time, or disburse players' bonuses as due, want to evoke inte...

Re: Siasia interview
I watch some of these interviews and sometimes I feel like supporting the organizational set up that we call the Super Eagles is immoral. We can say we’re supporting our country and all but the truth is that the corrupt set up of the ministry/NFF uses our support to commit all sorts of evils agains...

No shame, no competence. 200 million people and begging for Europeans, just useless. Saka is a Nigerian. He ain’t that different from some of us that hold dual citizenship . The only time I won’t support him is if England is playing Nigeria. Then I would wish for him to have the worst game of his l...

Why cry over spilled milk? With the way our NFF and we fans behave, it does not matter what talent we attract, we are simply not shaping up for success. What with a disorganized NFF, and unrealistic ITK fans that love overrating players based on sentiments. For a system based on prayers and hoping t...

Re: SE v SA confirmed for June 7th.
Our SE don't need a coach to qualify for 2026 World Cup.
Na today we start choose our team the playground way?
...And we wonder why on gameday the players act like they just met before kickoff?
No worries, I envisage Nigeria/S Africa playing out like Liverpool/Atalanta.

Re: The Arsenal FC - Related News and Devts for 2023-24 Season
I expect assanal to humiliate Bayern If Arsenal fails to beat Bayern by at least a two-goal margin, I would say they can forget the CL. Bayern is as dated as six months old bread. What with aging and lethargic players, and a sifting defense? Game of the day is to be played in Spain. :taunt: :taunt:...

Why do we love confusing situations? How can a coach not be able to invite players he prefers?

Re: White paper needed on improving Nigeria football
The main reason we have all these complaints about our football is because, like every of our institutions, the primary objective of those running the system is self enrichment. When we can get officials that have little or no interest about personal financial gains on the job, that's when their mai...

Re: WHY Michael Nsien could possibly become the COMPROMISE CANDIDATE.......
Our NFF and most of us fans are too impatient with tracking the performance of coaches in sports. How was it concluded after two friendlies and a 50% record, that Finidi is the right or wrong coach for the SE? Emotions , I would say, and that should not be used to determine success in an endeavor wi...

Too many overhyped players with bad on-field attitudes. Worst is, if we look at the players invited for camping in the last ten years, there are some that are quite unproductive to SE but still getting invited. Issues relating to players invitations with regards official intrusion needs be addressed...

Why should players at this level not able to trap or control the ball,
not to talk about making accurate passes? When some of us say most of
our players are overhyped, it seems we don't love them.

Looking at the match and the general demeanor of our SE players, I don't see any urgency,
discipline, or focus. The general attitude is like this is an intramural practice session.
