Re: Terem Moffi: Why Not Giving Him A Chance?
I really don't understand why it hasn't clicked for Terem granted he has had limited opportunities for the team. He seems the most versatile of our attackers. He is mobile, quick, has a cool head on his shoulders, can bring other attacking players into the game, he is not one dimensional in his styl...

Re: Can Anyone Guess Where CIV did their pre-tournament Camp?
Ivory coast win is an anomaly. They were not the best team. They won based on passion and will to win. All the team they played bar the semi final and final were better than them. Their Coach did not bring any technical or tactical reorganization. The win papered a lot of cracks that might unfold du...

Props to Victor Moses in 2013 though. His success with the team opened up possibilities for the Innit boys

Re: APPROPRIATE NICKNAME FOR MESSI....
Does it change anything if he had? Mascherano does a fantastic job at leading the team. Ronaldo and Iniesta with leadership skills? Really?mastermind wrote:Unlike Zidane, Maradona, Ronaldo, Iniesta and co. Messi lacked leadership skill. He can lead or inspire he suck ed @ it.

Re: APPROPRIATE NICKNAME FOR MESSI....
And while we are at it, Maradona's achievements with the National team is exaggerated. He only won one World cup just like Paolo Rossi owned it in 82 , lost many copa americas when it used to be a biennial affair as against every four years now. Maradona scored more goals in 86 than Messi has score...

Re: APPROPRIATE NICKNAME FOR MESSI....
Really this is unfair. No Player has put in the number of minutes Messi has done this year,He has not missed a second since He was benched for that Sociedad game in January yet, He has been consistently great. For all Maradona's greatness, I really wish I knew how he would have survived playing all...

Hopefully we can learn. I feel pained every time they say Messi's only two trophies at Junior level came against Nigeria. Seriously why always Nigeria

It's not even about the pitch. Simple passing triangles, continuous movement by players. Simple give and go. Heck these guys are professionals. The Sudan team is not even breaking sweat
