Re: The best players so far at the WC
Any list without Musiala is incomplete.
Kudus is balling as well. Praying Ghana advances because i have a feeling Kudus' confidence level is only starting to rise.
Mbappe
Gakpo
Fernandes

Re: Something Remarkable Is Happening in African Football
What is "African?" Are Otto Addo and Kalidou Koulibaly "African" if they were born in and grew up abroad? :rotf: :rotf:  Who is this Basil Boli. Never heard of him and I been watching football religiously since 1986 world cup as a primary school kid You obviously haven't...

Re: Something Remarkable Is Happening in African Football
Writing about exodus of African players to Europe without mentioning Keshi (RIP)? Guess he is South African. Just last week we were told of the DEATH of African football. This week the story has changed. Apples and oranges. This article is highlighting the fact that Africans are coaching African te...

Re: Africa is not good at football
It's shocking that all 3 sub-saharan teams struggle with maintaining their defensive shape at various points in a game. We expect a coach to teach this at tournaments when in actuality players should already know this at this level. Oh, you aren't using Africa again. You have now chosen to use the ...

Re: Cameroon [some plantainian] 1-2 Serbia
Same Same with African teams. We get schooled by these Europeans and South Americans. See how they keep on giving the ball away. Wrong choice of passes and always sluggish to recover. We need to go back to the drawing board. That is assuming the majority of them understand whatever is on a drawing ...

Re: Africa is not good at football
A friend of mine coaches the youth team of one of the MLS teams so i had the privilege of visiting their facility a few times. Bros, the number of kids they have training at such a magnificent facility makes me wonder if Africa can ever compete with them anymore.
Youth development is the way to go.

Re: Africa is not good at football
Africa still relies heavily on natural talent when in other jurisdictions natural talent is only the minimum requirement. Most African players can play football but they don't understand the game they play at a high level. Our FA's must invest in proper youth development and stop collecting random p...

Re: [WC 2022] Switzerland vs Cameroon(1-0)
I said it that Nigeria has the most talented individual players in Africa, we are just dis-organized in everything we do! let this be a lesson, African football has not improved, the likes of Tunisia and Morocco look organized in comparison, the west African sides do not have a chance, just hope Gh...
