Re: National Stadium Surulere

Let me shed some light on this, the stadium is being restored by Kensington Adebutu and Aliko Dangote under the "Adopt a pitch" initiative put in place by Sunday Dare. It is a full renovation, that is why it is moving as quickly as it is, all the ashewo joints, beer parlours, mama puts, dr...

Odegbami carried IICC on his back for a fair period until it destroyed his knees. I am going for Odegbami with thi...

Re: WE DON'T GIVE SIMY NWANKWO ENOUGH CREDIT (VIDEO INSIDE).

Bros, make I tell you straight truth. This kind of striker cannot work for Nigeria. His major asset is his height, hence all the header goals. He is immobile, so he cannot assist with counters, fastbreaks and quick give and gos....so all the balls will go to his legs to die. We have no crosser....h...

Re: WE DON'T GIVE SIMY NWANKWO ENOUGH CREDIT (VIDEO INSIDE).

He plays in Italy. This forum sees things from an England perspective, he'd have to move to the championship to get any respect from Nigerians. But he was born in Nigeria so even that’s not enough! None of the players keeping him out of the team play in England and I doubt he can displace Aina, Iwo...

Re: MATHEW YAKUBU VS DUNAJSKA STREDA (02/12/2020)

He has better fundamentals, and he is quicker than Okoye. He is short though. Not even close, Okoye is a far better trained goal keeper than Yakubu, Yakubu is a stud athlete, however he is in a similar situation to Enyeama in the years following 2002. Depending too much on athleticism and not quite...

Re: MATHEW YAKUBU VS DUNAJSKA STREDA (02/12/2020)

Good goalie but way too short to be in serious contention for a SE spot. The boy is six feet tall.... Definitely tall enough. Half a centimeter taller than Enyeama. That guy doesn't look 6ft to me o... Unless everyone around him in that video is 6'4'', 6'5''. Maybe sha. https://i1.wp.com/sportingtr...

MATHEW YAKUBU VS DUNAJSKA STREDA (02/12/2020)

The boy has good positioning and anticipation, look out for the save in the 85th minute he is six feet tall, but his athleticism makes up for the fact that he isn't a beanpole. He seems young and needs some finesse, but clearly the ability is there. I foresee a three way race between himself, Osigwe...

Re: Rohr has got to start picking players on current form

My summary of Fulham’s 2-1 win over Leicester last (1) Aina played as a right-sided centreback (2) Adarabioyo played as a left sided centreback (3) Both were rock solid tonight (4) Adarabioyo won every header he competed for (5) With Aina and Adarabioyo, playing, Sierra Leone would never have score...

Re: Maduka Okoye starts for Rotterdam

with the prism of hindsight, I can forgive Maduka's second half relapse against SL...unsavory factors like fatigue, poor weather and fitness conditions, and of course the terrible pitch can make even prime Neuer look like Akpeyi on crack. And he more than redeemed himself in the return leg... but I...

Re: Ekong vs Bournemouth

Ekong on bench for the entire of today's match. Not good. It is not a reflection on his ability, this is a man that always a mainstay in a decent Serie A team. Not every defender can cut it in Italy (look at Des Walker and Taiye Taiwo, fantastic in England and France; but duds in Italy). His standa...

Not a bad game, I can definitely see some positives. Sanusi, Ebuehi and Balogun are in great form. Okoye is a good prospect. But Kelechi needs to get off the nkwobi and gulder
